No one really misses Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Except Kyle Richards, who has to be the only person alive who thinks Teddi makes great TV. Garcelle Beauvais on the other hand thinks differently. On last week’s episode of RHOBH, Garcelle accurately described the somewhat disgraced accountability coach as annoying, like a “little gnat.” Unfortunately, that comment has become something Teddi can now glom onto to stay relevant.
On the 8/20 episode of E!’s Daily Pop, Teddi shared her thoughts on Garcelle’s dig. “Here’s the thing, I can be annoying. 100%.” Yep. “However, let’s say I found you really annoying and I talked about it behind your back,” Teddi says to set up her argument, “I wouldn’t be texting you ‘Happy Birthday. I hope you have a wonderful time.’ I wouldn’t even know when your birthday was.”

I get what Teddi issaying here – why bother with people you don’t care for? But since Real Housewives requires these women to hang out with people they don’t care for, the argument falls flat. “I wouldn’t be texting you, ‘Who gave you that mattress hookup? Who’s your [social media] paid post guy?’” she continues. Garcelle, Teddi claims, is, “reaching out to me. I don’t reach out to her.”
What we didn’t see on camera is that Teddi – always holding people accountable – texted Garcelle. “When I saw that [she made this comment] I sent her a little text,” Teddi tells us. “I was like ‘you always claim you’re about empowering women and you’re a woman’s girl who never hits anybody when they’re down. Imagine what it felt like to go into that situation to film Housewives after being on it for three years and then you say that. So, you’re not hitting somebody when they’re down? But, you’re reaching out to me in private.’” Teddi really isn’t an innocent fawn in the woods!

Garcelle did not respond to Teddi’s message. “There was no response. Crickets,” Teddi shares. However, Teddi says, Garcelle did laugh at her “shady post” about the gnat comment. As a refresher, Teddi clapped back on social media about Garcelle’s comments the night the episode aired. “There are people on the show who say things they know the audience will love and grab onto,” Teddi concluded.
Exactly Teddi, they’re called Housewives. Some of them know how to do their jobs, and the ones who don’t are what we call boring.
