For the first time in several seasons, I’m actually excited to watch the Real Housewives of Orange County. Bravo finally took out the trash and fired Kelly Dodd and Braunwyn Windham-Burke. And at long last, Heather Dubrow is making a triumphant return, no doubt with a bottle of champs in hand. It was a close call of whether or not RHOC could be salvaged. But if anyone can do it, it’s Fancy Pants.
The peak of RHOC is obviously around Season 10, when the Brooks Ayers cancer scam took the Bravo world by storm. Meghan King was the main crusader in exposing Vicki Gunvalson and her man’s lies, even though Vicki will continue to shout from the rooftops that she’s NOT A CON WOMAN. Meghan was not afraid to go head-to-head with Queen Victoria, and she was damn good at it.
Since her RHOC departure, Meghan has had a busy (and drama-filled) few years. She and Jim Edmonds split after a nanny scandal, a sexting scandal and everything in between. Their divorce took FOREVER to finalize, but now they’ve both moved on. And she’s a mom of three kids, and isn’t shy about how much WORK comes with it.
Meghan has a new man that Jim is already shading on Instagram. Meanwhile, Jim has been in a relationship with Kortnie O’Connor, the woman that Jim and Meghan allegedly had a threesome with that caused such a stir. And to be fair, Meghan hasn’t been the nicest to her old pal either. But would you if you were in her position?

Now that the ink has dried on the divorce papers, it looks like Jim might be jumping right into another major commitment. The Sun reports that Kortnie recently posted an Instagram story and fans spotted a massive diamond ring on her finger. This man wastes no time. He and Kortnie have been together for about a year and a half or so. And I’m surprised after the trainwreck of a divorce that Jim’s ready to put a ring on another woman’s finger. They really do things differently down in the OC.
Neither Jim nor Kortnie have confirmed their engagement, but it’s only a matter of time. That, or Kortnie has a thing for big diamond accessories that don’t carry so much weight. I need Detective Meghan to get on this case and reveal the truth and put her expert sleuthing skills back to work.
