I’m still screaming from the rooftops about Bravo righting their wrongs with the majorly necessary casting changes to the Real Housewives of Orange County. Heather Dubrow is BACK and I can’t celebrate it enough. I’ll need my own champagne room like Charrisse Jackson-Jordan to make it through Season 16. Kelly Fraud Dodd and Braunwyn Windham-Burke are OUT and I’ve never seen so much communal rejoice from the Bravo community. They were both toxic and insufferable in their own ways, and both were begging for a return after a season full of bad behavior. Elizabeth Vargas also peaced out after one season and it’s still unclear if Tamra Judge will make a triumphant return.
Boringwyn has not been taking the news of her RHOC firing well. But is anyone surprised? No narcissist would really be happy that the cameras don’t want to follow them and their convoluted life around 24/7. It’s obvious she and Sean Burke have a lot to work out off-camera, particularly the rules around Braunwyn having girlfriends on the side. Kelly and Braunwyn truly brought RHOC down to the lowest level of inauthenticity and toxicity while claiming to be the stars of the show. But their long-awaited demise has come, and the OG Real Housewives show has prevailed (Vicki Gunvalson aside).
As for the rest of the RHOC cast, only Shannon Beador, Gina Kirschenheiter and Emily Simpson have been confirmed to return. So it sounds like fans will be getting a lot of newbies on the show. And according to a report from The Sun, one of Braunwyn’s old friends might be taking the orange straight out of her hand and starring on the show.
Noella Bergener is allegedly hired as a cast member for Season 16. If you don’t remember Noella, she was one of Braunwyn’s yes men friends who tried to help her deal with her struggles with Sean. So to be fair, she deserves some compensation for dealing with that mess. Braunwyn described her as the “life of the party” who is “unapologetically herself.” So she sounds like the kind of person that Braunwyn tried to convince fans she was in front of the cameras.

A “source’ told The Sun that Noella is coming on board in some capacity next season despite Braunwyn’s alleged firing. “They tested her out before the firing decisions were made. She has good chemistry with other potential new cast members,” the insider said. The more newbies to take on wannabe queen bee Shannon Beador, the better.
Noella is married to an accident attorney and lives in Newport, California. She has an 8-month-old son and a 5-year-old daughter with her husband, while he has another son from a previous relationship. Sounds like the typical Orange County blended family. While I don’t have many strong feelings about her hiring, it is a little funny to see someone stabbing Braunwyn in the back to boost their fame for a change.
Braunwyn’s life revolves around fame and social media, so it’s clear she probably needs to surround herself with some authentic friends for once. Maybe it’ll teach her a thing or two about being her authentic self WITHOUT stepping on everyone’s toes.
