We are only one day out from the most recent Real Housewives of Atlanta season and Porsha Williams has blessed us with a scandalous story that’s much more interesting than the Bolo of it all (which dragged on for way too long this past season).
Porsha confirmed a romantic relationship with Simon Guobadia, who happens to be a good friend of Dennis McKinley’s. Oh, and if that last name sounded familiar, he’s Falynn Guobadia’s very recent ex-husband. You know, the one who she avenged by attempting to chase LaToya Ali around with a golf club at that failed Halloween party. What. A. Plot. Twist. Let’s get the cameras on this one. This is way more intriguing than anything we witnessed this past season.
Earlier, Porsha sparked speculation that she was engaged when she posted photos from a Mother’s Day gathering wearing a sparkling diamond ring on that finger. Dennis was in the photos and so was their daughter Pilar… and Simon. Porsha had her hand on Simon’s stomach, putting that ring on display. This was all sorts of confusing, especially with Dennis also standing there for that photo.
Dennis even commented on the post with “Congrats P! Cheers to your next chapter! Happy Mother’s Day.”
Then on Dish Nation, Porsha confirmed she had a “new love,” making it clear she wasn’t back with Dennis for the millionth time.

And then, after hours of internet speculation, she confirmed she’s with Simon. Oh and it seems like they’re engaged, based on the wording. Porsha revealed, “Our relationship began a month ago—yes we are crazy in love. I know it’s fast but we are living life each day to its fullest. I choose happiness every morning and every night. Tuning out all negative energy and only focused on positive wishes. He makes me so happy and to me, that is what matters most.” And the cameras. Where are the cameras? I need this taped for the show.
Porsha continued, “For all of you that need facts, I get the optics but Simon filed for divorce from a previous marriage in January. I had nothing to do with their divorce filing. That’s between the two of them. Falynn and I are not friends, and Simon’s divorce has been settled. Our relationship is a positive, loving step forward in everybody’s lives.” I am beyond shook.

Porsha wrote, “Simon and Dennis are committed to being respectful and supportive of my happiness in this situation, as well as being the best co-parents they can be to baby PJ. Two black men stepping up and being amazing people-let’s praise them!!!!”
And why does this seem like an engagement post to me? Porsha wrote, “It’s truly a beautiful moment in my life & we cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives together. xoxo P.” Wow. And just like that Porsha has next season’s storyline figured out. We need to hand Falynn a peach this time around.
