Holla! There’s a new season of The Real Housewives of New York City around the corner! This season, fans can expect a blast from the past. Heather “Hey Mamma” Thomson will be making guest appearances throughout. It’s been a while since she filmed in any relevant capacity, but she did make a one night appearance last year. A lot has changed since Heather was last on the show, and one of those things is the addition of Leah McSweeney to the cast.
Leah came on last season to “elevate this s**t” and created quite the buzz. However, the positive buzz has been fading, and fading fast. Caught in the middle of the alleged feud between Heather & Leah are Ramona Singer & Luann de Lesseps. They have experience filming with both women, so getting their take on it is a much needed dose of tea. It makes their recent comments all that more interesting.
In an interview with US Weekly, Ramona in particular didn’t hold back when giving her take on Heather & Leah’s spat. She says, “Unfortunately, she and Leah clashed [when she arrived].” Does she mean the MOMENT Heather arrived? That’s taking the title of Queen Bee to an entirely new level. There’s room in the Big Apple for both women!
Ramona continued, stating, “Maybe Leah was threatened by the longtime friendship that both Luann and I had with Heather. I don’t know. Well, there’s other things she was upset about that you’ll see. And they really clashed.” Perhaps there WAS NOT room in NYC for both women. Both Heather & Leah are known for having inflated senses of self, so the alpha energy was too hot to handle.

Leah was doing the most in her freshman season. From throwing Tiki torches to flashing her vagina at Ramona’s 50 closest girlfriends, it was suffocating at times. At first it was nice to have a fresh face in the group. At first. Acting up for the sake of camera time is always obvious though and viewers see through that.
This is the same sort of situation that happened when Bethenny Frankel & Heather interacted in Season 7. In a similar regard to Bethenny, Leah isn’t the type to back off or stand down. Heather clearly didn’t know what she was walking into.

Ramona concluded by saying, “I don’t like to be under Leah’s wrath it’s, like, woo! So, I did not come to Heather’s defense. I just ran the other way, saying, ‘Thank God it’s not me.” It looks like Ramona tucked her Singer Stinger between her legs and ran as far away as she possibly could. Typically her nose is in everyone’s business, so this is a new look for her. Is Ramona actually AFRAID of Leah?
In addition to Ramona, Luann chimed in as well. She stated, “I wasn’t that shocked because I feel like they’re two big personalities. I think that, you know, the conflict was real. You’re going to see how that plays out.” Good thing the season starts soon because this already feels like such a highly anticipated feud. NYC needs something besides overplayed drunken antics to get people excited to watch.

Could Leah be the Queen Bee that allegedly assaulted Heather during filming? If so, is this going to play out in dramatic fashion. There’s something about their second season that makes some Housewives take a nose dive in popularity. So many people wanted Heather back on the show, so Leah might be making a critical error. Whatever admiration she earned last season from fans might be out the window.
