From stripper rumors to bestie sister-in-laws, viewers have seen it all from Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice on Real Housewives of New Jersey. This season has put Melissa in the middle of Teresa and her newest nemesis, Jackie Goldschneider. It’s been fascinating to watch Melissa flirt the line between supporting her actual friend, and the one she so unfortunately married into. Meanwhile her husband, Joe Gorga, will defend Tre no matter what.
At the same time, the drama between Joe Gorga and Joe Giudice is seemingly endless. But why exactly is it allowed for the Joes to physically fight and drag each other in the press while Melissa and Teresa need to hold hands and play nice? Where’s the fun in that?
Melissa cites her family as the reason for her recent ability to modulate around Tre. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight also revealed that she now understands how a rational argument doesn’t work with Teresa. To anyone else, those would be fighting words. Apparently Teresa wasn’t surprised to hear she’s irrational, though. Melissa shared, “I think she knows it’s true.”
Melissa added, “[Teresa’s] not the easiest person to go back and forth with …. but sometimes you got to ‘yes’ her to make it end, and I’m not saying that that’s right, or that’s fair.” And while we’re all exhausted from the endless cheating-husband story line, it’s impossible to act like Teresa is an easy side to stand on when it comes to Tre v. Jackie.

“If I were a friend, or if I were Jackie, I get why they kind of battle it out because they have no reason to just say, all right, I’m going to just let what you said blow off my shoulder,” Melissa continued.
Melissa said, “I’m a little bit more lenient because of my children and everyone, and listen, Teresa and I, we have an understanding now. We know each other. She knows how far she can go with me, where before, I think she used to push me more.”
Melissa claimed, “[Teresa] doesn’t do that anymore. She knows where I’m going to, like, explode, and she’s learned me and I’ve learned her, and I think that we figured that out.” Meanwhile, Melissa is blasting Teresa’s ex-husband publicly as Teresa fires back at Joe Gorga. I can’t with these four.

In the end, Melissa thinks this is a totally normal family dynamic. Jesus fix it. She said, “It’s just one of those things, and I think it’s relatable to a lot of sister-in-laws.”
