Teresa Giudice is the OG of Real Housewives of New Jersey. That’s a fact. Way back during Season 1 Tre was more of a RHONJ side character because it centered on the Manzo family. Caroline Manzo, Dina Manzo, and Jacqueline Laurita are related through blood or marriage. Teresa was their just their kooky, over-the-top friend in need of new bubbies.
That all changed during (one of) the most iconic dinner scenes ever filmed for Housewives. You know the one where Tre flipped the table on “prostitution whore,” Danielle Staub,“engaged 19 times,” and mentioned in Jersey’s favorite doorstop, Cop Without a Badge. After that, Housewives changed forever and Tre became the center of the show. Since then she’s shown the ugliest parts of her entire life on camera. She’s afraid of no one, has no boundaries, and brought all the drama in the first ten minutes of last night’s premier. Could we say Tre is the GOAT?
In an interview with E! News, Teresa talked about her tenure on the show. “When I first started the show, I did it for fun,” she said. According to Tre, “season one and two were fun.” But, “after that, season three on…family came on, then the whole legal stuff, then I lost my mom, then I lost my dad.”
She has definitely been through it and we’ve been able to follow it all. Notably Teresa begins the list of bad things with, “family came on.” It’s safe to say she will never let it go that Melissa Gorga and her brother Joe Gorga came on the show. But then again, Tre is a professional grudge holder.

E! News points out that “the mom of four is the only remaining original cast member,” and still, Teresa stated, “I haven’t had fun on the show [in a while].” This however doesn’t bother Teresa because she stated that she’s, “very tough. I’m the Tom Brady of Housewives.”
The more I think about it, the more I agree. Tre bleeds on camera and never makes up storylines for herself. That is quite the feat in the world of Housewives.

The article questions, “how much longer can Teresa keep playing?” She responded, “I can’t really answer that right now.” Interesting response, no? I was expecting something more along the lines of until the show can’t go on anymore.
