It is already clear that Season 11 of Real Housewives of New Jersey is going to feature juicy drama between “OG” Teresa Giudice and Jackie Goldschneider. The two ladies have never been close, and frequently clash. And it doesn’t help that Teresa’s sister-in-law Melissa Gorga is Team Jackie.
Apparently, Teresa started a rumor that Jackie’s husband, Evan Goldschneider, was cheating on her. When all her RHONJ co-stars took Teresa’s side, with the exception of Melissa, Jackie refused to film. She also missed the cast trip to Lake George. Who can blame her? I’d hate to be stuck somewhere with this crew with only Melissa as an ally.
Jackie told HollywoodLife Podcast that there is one casting change that she would make to RHONJ. “I feel like everybody on this cast –and it’s the best cast ever– but everybody has some sort of allegiance to Teresa,” Jackie explained. “They’re either a family member or friends from childhood, so nobody goes up against her except me.” Jackie has an idea of who would spice up the dynamic on the show.
The writer shared, “I have no fear of going up against her, but I feel like the old school Jersey girls stood their ground. And Caroline [Manzo], especially, I would love to have her back,” she said. Jackie continued, “I’ve never met her. I’ve never even spoken to her. But, I’ve been a fan since day one. So I like Caroline, I wouldn’t mind that at all,” Jackie added.
Of course, we all know that Teresa would mind that. Caroline and Teresa teamed up for a Superbowl commercial in 2020, but they were still at odds. Caroline reported that Teresa said her issues with Caroline stemmed all the way back from Teresa and Melissa’s feud. Teresa believed that Caroline didn’t back her up. Oof.

But Jackie isn’t the only RHONJ star rooting for Caroline’s comeback. In 2018, Melissa expressed support for Caroline’s return. Dolores Catania admitted that she is still friends with Caroline. If Caroline ever did return, Dolores would be stuck in the middle between Teresa and Caroline. Now that would be entertaining for viewers.
In December 2020, Margaret Josephs also lobbied for Caroline to return to RHONJ. “I’d get a big kick out of [Manzo returning]. I think it’d be great,” Margaret said. It sounds like the only person not psyched about Caroline’s possible return is Caroline.

In April 2019, Caroline revealed that she was offered a position on Season 10 as a Friend of the Housewives. And she wasn’t impressed by what Bravo was willing to pay her. “Pay me what I’m worth. You got an OG here and I’m going to be arrogant. It’s just a matter of respect,” Caroline remarked. “I’m one of the women that they still talk about.”
Everyone may be talking about Caroline, but unless Bravo shows her some serious money, she is content with her post-Housewives life. And I’m sure Teresa is fine with that.
