The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City - Season 1

Andy Cohen Confirms Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City Is Renewed For Season 2

I have been obsessed with Real Housewives of Salt Lake City since it’s debut. I love the snowy change of scenery and the diverse backgrounds of the cast. And let me just say, the RHOSLC casting was perfection.

We have Lisa Barlow, who owns several alcohol brands with her husband. Lisa fancies herself the “Sundance Queen,” and the person to know to gain entrance to events at the Sundance Film festival.

Lisa’s twin look-alike best friend, Meredith Marks, is a jewelry designer. She was secretly separated from her husband when filming began. Meredith and Seth Marks decided to give their marriage another try.

Jen Shah is the “HBIC,” and she wants everyone to know it. She has a bedazzled microphone, and she loves to use it. Jen’s enemy is Pentecostal minister Mary Cosby. Jen is still furious that Mary told her that someone “smelled like hospital” after Jen had been visiting to her sick aunt in the hospital. Oof. Mary followed her grandmother’s wishes and married her step-grandfather so that she would inherit her grandmother’s churches and other businesses. Awkward! And after 22 years, it is still gross.

Heather Gay has emerged as the fan favorite. She is divorced from “Mormon royalty” Billy Gay III. She owns Beauty Lab & Laser, which is a successful med spa. In a recent episode, Heather talked to her three daughters about the shame and judgment she feels from the Mormon Church because she is divorced. Cheer up, girl. Singer Rihanna is a fan! Rihanna wrote to Heather, “I’m obsessed with you!” on Heather’s Instagram Story. Thank you to @Queensofbravo for sharing it on Twitter.

And then we have Heather’s cousin, Whitney Rose. She has been married for 10 years to her husband, Justin Rose. The twist is that they were both married to other people when they started their love affair. As a result, Whitney left the Mormon Church. When Whitney isn’t twirling around the stripper pole in her house, she is usually under fire from Jen and Lisa.

People reported that Bravo host Andy Cohen dropped some news about RHOSLC during the “After Show” part of Watch What Happens Live. On January 19, 2021, Andy asked his guests to predict “the most entertaining Housewives franchise in 2021.” Danny Pellegrino, who hosts the Everything Iconic podcast, said that he is “excited about all of them,” but he is “really hoping” that RHOSLC gets another season.

Andy replied, “Oh they’re coming back for a season 2.” Thank you, Bravo! According to Bravo’s The Daily Dish, Andy recently spilled some tea about the reunion on his Instagram Story. Andy said, “It is nine at night. We are still shooting the Salt Lake City reunion. Unprecedented for a Season 1, 13-episode run.” The reunion sounds juicy! “We’re still going at nine o’clock. Lisa’s in the bathroom. So, I mean, this is like unbelievable. It’s good. There’s a lot happening in this winter wonderland, I will tell you that,” Andy added.
