90 Day Fiance Recap: What’s Mine Is Mine

It wouldn’t be the holidays without the gift that just keeps on giving, 90 Day Fiance.  As a bonus, we even get to meet the final couple, which fits right into this shit show. In fact, they may just become one of the highlights of this season. After four episodes, I think this cast is filled with opportunists. My mind may change as things progress, but most of these people look very suspicious to me. Do they love their partner or the life they THINK they can achieve with them?

Mike fails to make Natalie feel at home. Stephanie worries her secret will ruin her relationship. Zied questions whether he should leave his parents. Jovi and Yara have a blow up. Julia has a rough day on Brandon‘s farm. Andrew learns shocking news about Amira. Let’s get straight to the 90 Day Fiance recap!

Mike, 35 (Sequim, WA), and Natalie, 35 (Ukraine)

90 Day Fiance Recap: What’s Mine Is Mine

It’s a brand new day in Sequim, Washington and it might as well be hell in Natalie’s eyes. She hates everything from the weather, the food, the house and Mike. When he tries to introduce her to one of his favorite breakfast staples, french toast, she is unimpressed. Natalie quickly throws her food away and seeks a healthier option. When they take a drive after breakfast, Natalie gets to see her new surroundings in the daylight. Needless to say, she still isn’t impressed by the country life. She pleads with Mike to take her to a famous waterfall a few hours away. When he says it conflicts with his work schedule, she flies into a tantrum because she doesn’t feel like his priority.

Stephanie, 52 (Grand Rapids, MI), and Ryan, 27 (Belize)

90 Day Fiance Recap: What’s Mine Is Mine

Finally we get to meet Stephanie, a business woman who is currently training for training for the hula hoop championship. From the trailer alone, I knew this woman was going to be interesting, to say the least. Stephanie has devoted her life to her spa business and it’s kept her from entering into serious relationships, in the past. But during a vacation in Belize, she met her boo, Ryan on the beach. After years of being single, Stephanie feels that Ryan is the one and wants to settle down with him. She spoils him with gifts and even supports him and his family with their rent.

But that isn’t enough to dissuade his flirtatious tendencies. Stephanie hopes that Ryan will mature when he arrives in America, but her friends and family worry that he is an opportunist. Well, duh! I’m sorry, but Stephanie screams SUGAR MAMA, although she prefers and owns the term Cougar.

Stephanie invites Maria the psychic over to do a tarot card reading to ease her mind over not hearing back from Ryan. He finally FaceTimes with Stephanie during her reading. Although Stephanie can’t help but fawn over him, but she is still upset that he was hanging out with his friends instead of calling her back earlier. Of course, Maria warns Stephanie about the relationship and that there may be another woman around him.

Apparently, in the past, Maria “saw” he was still talking to his ex-girlfriend. Ryan denied it, but she clearly trusts the cards more than her future husband. But Stephanie isn’t innocent herself, in fact she has a shocking secret of her own. A year ago, she found Ryan speaking with several different women. Distraught she called his cousin and he decided to console her with his penis. Ryan has no idea and Stephanie isn’t sure their relationship will survive once she reveals everything. Whew!!!!  It doesn’t take cards to see as long as the money and gifts keep coming, he will be fine to stay and keep cheating on her. Steph, if you would like to pay me for my predictions in the future, I’m available!

Brandon, 27 (Dinwiddie, VA), and Julia, 26 (Russia)

90 Day Fiance Recap: What’s Mine Is Mine

Play time is over and Brandon and Julia head back to the farm with his parents.  At first, Julia is excited until she realizes her tour includes all of the daily chores she will be expected to help with. They definitely eased her into her new reality. It might have actually been better to rip the band aid off and take her straight to their home to temper her expectations. She is offended that Brandon’s mother dared to expect her to contribute to the place she is living. According to Julia, she is a dancer. Well honey, I hate to break it to you, you are a farmer now! I guess we will see how long she lasts, even she begins to doubt if Brandon is worth it.

Julia is shown her room, adorned with photos of her and Brandon. But she still can’t get over the fact that his parents want them to stay in separate rooms, under their roof. Clearly, they aren’t under the assumption they won’t have sex, since his mother has conveniently left condoms for them. But Julia doesn’t feel at home, she is overwhelmed by all of the new routines and the fact it’s a farm. At dinner, she even tries to get Brandon’s parents to change their minds about the room situation unsuccessfully.

Rebecca, 49 (Woodstock, GA), and Zied, 27 (Tunisia)

After anxiously awaiting the outcome of Zied’s visa status, Rebecca finally gets some good news. He has been approved to come to come to the U.S, after a year in limbo. I guess when he gets there she will have turned the whole house into a shrine of their photos. I wouldn’t be surprised if she gets a mural of them on the ceiling of the bedroom at this point. Meanwhile, Zied goes to speak to his parents about his upcoming move. His father wishes him well, but his mother isn’t sure Rebecca is the right woman for him. Zied struggles with his difficult decision.

Jovi, 29 (New Orleans, LA), and Yara, 25 (Ukraine)

90 Day Fiance Recap: What’s Mine Is Mine

As Yara tries to get settled into her new home, she makes it clear she is not feeling the décor. After telling Jovi he has an “ugly ass home” she pushes for them to go shopping. They originally have a mirror and a rug in mind, but soon after arriving, she expands her list to include all new furniture. When Jovi makes the mistake of referring to the apartment as his when they argue about a rug, things go downhill fast. Yara storms off, the saleswoman encourages him to go after her.  I can understand her wanting to put some of her own style into the home, but she is going to have to learn to compromise, as well.

The fight continues when they arrive back home ending with Yara, as the victor. Jovi is frustrated but apologizes for the argument. Eventually they make up when he succumbs to her demands for all new furniture, despite the current furniture being new. Ugh… this girl is so high maintenance, it’s ridiculous.

Andrew, 32 (Roseville, CA), and Amira, 28 (France)

90 Day Fiance Recap: What’s Mine Is Mine

Well surprise, surprise, Amira was detained in Mexico City. When Andrew arrives he receives a message from Amira’s father about  the predicament. He is extremely confused why his master plan didn’t work. He has no idea where she is and can’t seem to reach anyone. While heading to the comfort of his hotel, he talks about how shitty his day is, um, tell that to your detained girlfriend. Honestly, I don’t think I would have agreed to this plan during a pandemic without a guarantee that it would work out.
