Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Halts Filming Amid Positive Coronavirus Test Results

Well guys, it looks like we might have to wait a little bit longer to see where newly single Erika Jayne is now hanging her hair pieces. Some of our favorite shows, including Real Housewives of Atlanta, have paused filming because of Covid. It’s a lot for a virus that many might think is a hoax. Unfortunately, this hoax is working overtime and on both coasts.

RHOA is premiering on December 6, but they were still shooting up until recently. An Atlanta crew member tested positive for the virus and cameras immediately went down. Now in California, everyone and their wig is on hold because the Rona has struck again. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is the latest show to fall victim to lags in production during the pandemic.

By now we are kind of used to this news but it sucks nonetheless. I know we’re all anxious to meet the brand new RHOBH cast members and Kyle Richards’ new face, but we are officially in a bind. Unfortunately Lisa Rinna’s interview wigs from your best mall Glamour Shot are ever so slightly delayed. Naturally, the cast and crew are anxious to return to business, but until then – safety first!

People has confirmed RHOBH halted production due to COVID-19 concerns. A source shared filming was temporarily suspended and the team behind the scenes are following proper health and safety protocols. RHOBH is shooting season 11, which is expected to air on Bravo in 2021. Thankfully, everyone seems pretty well-versed in home interview set ups at this point, so Dorit Kemsley will still be able to give us talking heads using whatever White Diamonds filter they all have going on.

The insider also said, “The set follows rigorous Covid-19 safety protocols including contract tracing.” They added, “Out of an abundance of caution, production is shutting down for two weeks.” Along with the entire crew, Kyle, Rinna, Erika, Garcelle Beauvais, and Dorit will self-isolate at home for at least two weeks. Thoughts and prayers to their husbands.

Real Housewives of New York has also been impacted by the virus. Filming was briefly paused when someone on the crew allegedly tested positive for the Rona. They have returned to production and everyone gets tested on a regular basis. So Bravo is in a pickle. Three of their strongest shows have been hit pretty hard in the schedule department. Vanderpump Rules appears to be on infinite hiatus, as it is difficult to film a program centered around a restaurant during a health crisis. The show is most likely not returning but the big guys probably don’t want to tell a bunch of pregnant ladies they are out of a job

With any luck, 2021 will find the Rona beginning to show herself out. It seems safe to say once the RHOBH team has isolated and stayed vigilant with following proper precautions, everything will be back up and running. On the bright side of this entire mess, it would take a whole lot more than a worldwide contagion to stop these ladies from being on television.

TELL US- DO YOU THINK ALL FILMING SHOULD STOP AMID THE VIRUS? ARE YOU SURPRISED REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS SHUT DOWN? DO YOU THINK MORE SHOWS WILL BE IMPACTED?
