During last week’s episode of Southern Charm, Patricia Altschul encouraged new cast member John Pringle to pursue Madison LeCroy… even though Madison was dating Austen Kroll.
Patricia doesn’t think that Austen is good enough for Madison and she dissed his beer company, saying that Madison deserves “Budweiser” instead, I.e. Madison deserves someone with more money and stability. Well, Austen didn’t take too kindly to that and he shaded Patricia’s business pursuits in response.
Austen posted a photo of himself next to a beer tap. In the caption, he wrote, “It’s pretty awesome to see my little pipe dream with #trophop come to fruition, in such a cool way @chswineandfood , tonight. It’s now available in package and draught in all of the Charleston area and beyond. Greenville, Spartanburg and Columbia In the VERY near future.”
And then, he alluded to Patricia’s recent shade, writing, “For all those that message me and ask if it’s available in your state, just give me a little time. I’m not @budweiserusa after all … yet.”

Shep commented, “Honestly very proud of my friends success. Austen, [Craig Conover] and i are very close. And we bicker. But the support is unwavering. One day we’ll be floating in a Caribbean ocean old and grey and laughing our ass off. I mean we already do that. And I’m the only one who is grey. @kingscallingbrewing.”
This prompted a response from a fan who said, “I like that you’re not just slapping one name on something to peddle it, as many Bravolebs do. Nice going!” According to a screen shot shared by Comments by Bravo.

And Austen came through with even more shade for Patricia. Austen replied, “No ma’am, no dog faces on oversized pieces of fabric here.” Obviously, that’s a dig at the caftans and pajamas that Patricia sells.
