As much as Twitter is hoping for a Teddi Mellencamp-free season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, it just doesn’t seem to be a likely a scenario. Even though she has zero personal storylines, she does stir the pot and push along other people’s issues.
She also has no problem pushing Kyle Richards‘ agenda forward, much to the annoyance of many fans. Camille Grammer put it best when she tweeted, “Teddi is lucky to be stuffed safely in Kyles back pocket because if she wasn’t she would be crying a different tune. #puppet” Exactly! Her close friendship with Kyle is keeping her on this show. Well, that and her famous last name.
Teddi recently answered some questions from fans in her Instagram Stories. According to a screenshot captured by John Yates, someone asked, “Would you do the next season without Kyle?” As if Andy Cohen would ever get rid of Kyle. I’m gonna quote another tweet Camille and say “He has his favorites” and Kyle is clearly one of those favorites.
And if Kyle is still on the show, her puppet will most likely be on the show as well. Sorry, guys.

Teddi said, “I can’t imagine the show without Kyle. She is such full blown comic relief. I think you can ask any of the women and they would agree with me on this.”
Oh, really? Kyle told Erika Jayne she doesn’t have any close friends. Kyle made fun of Dorit Kemsley for getting her hair and makeup done all season. She invited Brandi Glanville to film so they could out Denise Richards. Kyle sure seems like the best friend ever. Kyle made fun of Denise’s physical appearance multiple times. I totally see it….

As far as those “comic relief” claims, I haven’t laughed “with” Kyle in a long time. A lot of her “jokes” just don’t land. It’s hard to see past her acting as an on-camera producer, pulling the puppet strings all season long without actually addressing her own real life issues. And, no, I do not think drunk Kyle doing the splits for the millionth time is funny. At all.
