Recently, Scheana Marie was slammed as “boy crazy” by new Vanderpump Rules cast member Max Boyens. However, he has way worse problems than Scheana wanting to hang out and buy him an Apple watch for Thanksgiving.
Scheana has not had the best luck with guys over the years. Max is barely a blip on the radar. She struggled with ex-husband Mike Shay’s sobriety, oh and that time he cleared their joint bank account. Rob Valletta could hang a TV in seven seconds, but he dumped her after making her wait until he finished his Fantasy Football draft. Adam Spott wouldn’t actually date Scheana, but he got all of the relationship benefits from being her “best friend.” After that, she hung out with Robby Hayes from The Bachelorette and now she’s dating an Australian named Brock Davies.
It seems like Scheana is in a much better place these days romantically, but she’s actually still in touch with one of her former flames. During a recent Watch What Happens Live appearance, Scheana shared that she is still on good terms with Shay. She remarked,”he’s the only one I’m still in touch with.”
Not only that, but she actually reached out to him on their wedding anniversary, even though they’re divorced. Scheana told Bravo’s The Daily Dish, “It’s just another day on the calendar. I mean, last year on what would’ve been my wedding anniversary, I sent Shay a bitmoji and we both had a good [laugh].” That sweet, I guess.

But, the conversation wasn’t entirely without shade. I mean, is Scheana even being herself if she’s not shading an ex? She remarked, “I learned to never settle, and I don’t — nothing against Shay at the time, you know? He was my best friend and that was what I saw forever, but there were a lot of red flags I ignored.” When did she implement this lesson? When she was worshipping Rob for his electronics assembly abilities or when she was buying Adam a penguin even though he wouldn’t actually date her?
Scheana took the opportunity to talk about her current guy Beau. Scheana said, “Even in my relationship now, it’s so unfair to my amazing boyfriend that I have past trauma and if I see — I’m just like, I have automatically thought that, because Shay did these things, every other guy is gonna do these things, and it’s kind of messed me up mentally and emotionally a little bit, but I’ve learned from it and I’ve grown from it and I just know things to look out for and what I deserve and just not to settle.” Oh, Scheana.
