Lisa Vanderpump Wins Reality Star Of The Year Award

Whether you think Lisa Vanderpump is the queen of reality TV or the best chess player since Bobby Fisher, you have to admit that she has a strong following. In all honesty, she might have the most loyal fandom out of all of the Real Housewives. Her biggest Stans support everything she does from her TV appearances to her restaurants to her charitable endeavors. Some of them even go all in to call out Lisa’s (perceived) enemies on social media, blowing up Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave and Kyle Richards‘ mentions whenever they slip up.

Basically, LVP is the influencer of all influencers, whether you love her or loathe her. And, let’s be honest, a lot of reality TV viewers do love her. She was a big part of the glamour that initially drew in Real Housewives of Beverly Hills viewers. She has the most successful Real Housewives spin-off show, with Vanderpump Rules approaching its eighth season. Sorry, Kim ZolciakDon’t Be Tardy isn’t the most exciting show on TV. She wasn’t even on half of RHOBH Season 9, yet she dominated the conversations during the season, the reunion taping… and in interviews and on social media.

No wonder Lisa won a reality TV star award. Lisa shared a photo of herself from the podium at the National Film & Television Awards. No, I’ve never heard of this either, but I also feel like award shows are popping up all the time. Or it’s been around forever and there are just too many to keep up with. Lisa took home the trophy in the Best Female Reality TV Personality category. She didn’t wear a crown, but she might as well have. Instead, she rocked an adorable hat.

In the caption of her photo, Lisa wrote, “Thank you for voting for me as your Best Female Reality TV Star! I’m honored to have won the NFTA National Film & TV Award.” RHOBH alum (and one season wonder), Joyce Giraud commented “Bravo!!!!” with some red heart emojis. I assume the Bravo pun was intentional.

She shared another photo with her husband Ken Todd after her big win along with the caption “Celebrating lol.” Real Housewives of Dallas star Stephanie Hollman commented that Lisa looked “Gorg.” Thirst monster Real Housewives of Orange County alum Gretchen Rossi commented with some red heart emojis.

It’s been a rough year for Lisa, but getting this award is a happy way to close out 2019.
