I still can’t believe that Lisa Vanderpump left Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after Season 9. All because of the dreaded “puppy gate” scandal, which taught us that if you adopt a pup from Vanderpump Dogs, you might want to read the adoption contract first. Right, Dorit Kemsley?
Otherwise, you might improperly re-home a dog and cause the poor pup to end up in a shelter. Of course, Lisa’s long-time bestie Kyle Richards accused Lisa of leaking the story about Dorit to the tabloids and called Lisa a liar when Lisa denied it. The rest of the RHOBH ladies turned against Lisa. That was the final straw, and Lisa skipped the reunion and exited the series. I wish I could re-home Dorit to another Housewives franchise instead. Just saying.
Now two new Beverly Hills Housewives are joining the cast, and hopefully they will shake things up. Actress Garcelle Beauvais and businesswoman Sutton Stracke are the newbies joining Season 10.
Garcelle and Sutton spoke to Us Weekly in September about what they will bring to the show. Both ladies know that Lisa’s fashionable pumps can never be filled. “I don’t feel like I’m replacing her. I don’t think anybody can replace her,” Garcelle said. She also remarked, “I just feel like I’m gonna me, you know?”

Sutton is also going to just be herself. “You know, I think it’s an honor to be on the show and I’m excited and just to step in and be myself. I’m not anybody’s replacement, I’m not trying to be someone that I’m not,” Sutton stated. “I’m just gonna be myself and live my life and I want other people to see what I’m doing, cause it’s really fun and I’m so blessed.” So far Season 10 sounds boring.
But listen up, Sutton and Garcelle. In an interview with HollywoodLife at the Vanderpump Dogs Gala, Lisa shared some words of wisdom for the new Housewives. “Good bloody luck [to them],” Lisa said. “All of them…hide under the table. Run!”

Lisa hasn’t met Sutton or Garcelle, but she does hope that they don’t endure what she experienced. “I don’t know either of them. I don’t know them, but I do wish them luck,” Lisa shared. “Good luck. That’s what I can say.”
Lisa attended BravoCon in New York City the weekend of November 16, and she appreciated all the support from her fans. “I think [the fans] felt that this year had been really hard [for me] and they were just really on my side,” Lisa said. The restaurateur added, “When the women have been against me, I tell you what–the fans, and the way they support you and they don’t take crap…I just love that. It’s a very depressing year for me, and so suddenly, there they are.”

It looks like Lisa has put the Beverly Hills Housewives in her rear view. Lisa told People that she hopes that the Vanderpump Dog Foundation, and the work she has done to help dogs, will be her legacy. And she’s not talking about “puppy gate.” That is Dorit’s legacy.
