Here’s a name you haven’t heard in a minute:Malia White. She joined Below Deck Mediterranean as the resident femme fatale and deckhand on Season 2. You might recall she had a thing going on with the yacht’s chef, Adam Glick. Unfortunately for Adam, Malia also had eyes for her bosun, Wes Walton. Captain Sandy Yawn wound up promoting Malia during the charter season. Many people wondered if it had to do with her superior performance as a deckhand or her superior performance at flirting with her boss.
Listen, a girl can’t help it if she is the object of men’s affection. But a girl can help it if she’s leading several people on at once. Wes and Malia eventually parted as friends, but onion-loving Adam probably still uses her photo as his dartboard’s bullseye. She eventually apologized for her behavior surrounding the love triangle and has since moved on to bigger and better things. One of those things is a steady relationship not involving Wes or Adam. Could another be our first female bosun in the Below Deck franchise? The streets are saying it could happen.
The next season of Below Deck Med is probably filming as we speak and the rumor mill says Bravo might see it’s first female bosun. How exciting! Even better, it may or may not be our old buddy Malia. Bravo Superfans shared the scoop via Instagram. With a photo of Malia working on a yacht, the caption read, “Remember Malia? She had a little love triangle with Wes and Adam on BDM. Well ‘word on the street’ is that she will return on the next season of Below Deck Med as BOSUN! Wow #belowdeckmediterranean”

I love it when the streets start talking! The Instagram account was flooded with supportive comments regarding Malia’s possible return. If nothing else, she brought viewers some good drama during her previous time on the program. I hope with my giant, blackened heart that Adam will show up again as the chef. Please don’t let us down, Bravo.

More power to Malia if this is true. It would be wonderful to see another female in a high-ranking position, other than chief stew. Perhaps Captain Sandy will return to give hugs as well. How nice would it be to have a yacht crew with women serving in all of the boss roles? Bring it on, Below Deck.
TELL US- WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE MALIA SHOW UP AGAIN? WOULD A FEMALE-RUN YACHT BE A NICE CHANGE? WOULD YOU WATCH MALIA AS A BOSUN?
