There are a lot of changes coming to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in Season 10. Let’s admit that the franchise needs a facelift. (Ha!) Lisa Vanderpump jumped ship for good after dealing with the trauma of her brother’s unexpected death, and the messy “puppy gate” drama. Thanks again, Dorit Kemsley, for causing this whole nightmare in the first place by not returning your puppy to Vanderpump dogs.
Lisa’s epic fight with former bestie Kyle Richards at Villa Rosa destroyed their friendship, and sealed Lisa’s decision. Now Kyle is the Queen of Beverly Hills Housewives—for the moment. But with two new faces joining next season, Kyle may be worried about her crown.
Actress Garcelle Beauvais is thrilled to be joining the show. In a statement to Bravo’s The Daily Dish, Garcelle said, “I am excited and proud to be joining the cast of such a wildly popular and beloved show like The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. As a working actor who has been in the industry for some time, it’s exhilarating to have the opportunity to delve into a new chapter in the entertainment spectrum. As the first African American Housewife in the Beverly Hills franchise, I am honored and humbled by this awesome opportunity to exemplify the fact that Black Girl Magic lives and thrives in every zip code!” Garcelle continued, “Already being intimately familiar with the spotlight of Hollywood, my journey of successes and trials has already been chronicled and shared with my many loyal supporters around the world.”
In conclusion, Garcelle hinted at what fans of RHOBH can expect. “I’m excited to share the many ongoing daily surprises, laughs and joys of being a working mother in today’s crazy world,” she stated. “The hustle is R-E-A-L! No games, all heart and a little dash of fashion-filled sass is what you’ll get when you step into my sphere…and I wouldn’t have it any other way!”
Garcelle is no stranger to drama. According to Radar Online, Garcelle weathered a public cheating scandal 10 years ago with her now ex-husband, Mike Nilon. The couple share twin boys together.
Mike worked at CAA, which is a sports and talent agency. Garcelle sent an email to her husband’s place of business in 2010, and it went viral. She wrote in the subject line “Tiger Woods/Jesse James/Mike Nilon.” The actress then took aim at her cheater husband. “What do they have in common . . . I found out today that MY husband of almost 9 yrs has been having an affair for 5 yrs with some slut in Chicago,” Garcelle revealed. “I am devastated!!!! And I have been duped!! Our boys don’t deserve this!” I really admire her for outing her ex like that.

Sutton Stracke also confirmed the news that she is joining the RHOBH cast. “I am thrilled and honored to be joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. As a mother to three children who is also deeply committed to my efforts in philanthropy, my life is a balancing act,” Sutton said in a statement to Bravo’s The Daily Dish. “There is a lot going on in the best way possible and I strive to pursue all of my passions to the fullest. I am excited to share my true loves of art and fashion design and open the doors to my world. I am looking forward to this ride and where this journey takes me. Fun times ahead for this Southern Belle in Southern California!”
Sutton is already friends with Lisa Rinna, and Lisa suggested her for the gig. Sutton is a celebrated party host, and I am still not clear about what that means. Again—I must be going to the wrong parties.
The remainder of the full-time Housewives are all returning. So that means get ready for more Kyle, Erika Jayne, Denise Richards, Dorit, and Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave. There is no word yet if Garcelle and Sutton are involved in any lawsuits, but if they are, they will fit right in with Kyle, Erika, and Dorit. Stay tuned!
