Erika Jayne Smacked With $3 Million Lawsuit Over Husband’s Unpaid Debts

On the next season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Tales from the Court, we’ll see an array of stars. Making their way through the entrance of the Los Angeles County courthouse will be, Dorit Kemsley and husband PK! Kyle Richards will smile for the cameras in support of her beloved spouse, Mauricio Umansky. Also not escaping the limelight will be Tom Girardi. The acclaimed attorney won’t be alone however, his wife Erika Girardi will join him along the way!

Why is this? Perhaps the wives were feeling left out of their husbands’ various legal battles. We know future jailbird Dorit is under fire with her swimsuit line. There’s also a nasty little rumor that her checking account is frozen! Kyle might be called into court because the cast attended a party at the house centered around Mauricio’s case. Not one to be left out is the glamorous Erika Jayne. It’s EXPEN$$$1VE to be her, y’all! Now Erika might have to start cutting back because Tom’s existing lawsuit has just put a cramp in her pat the puss wallet. Head’s up everybody, Mikey could be looking for a job.

During the reunion episodes, Erika briefly touched on Tom’s existing legal issues in the past. Dismissing it as “we’re in the lawsuit business, baby”, Erika “wasn’t bothered” about Tom’s massive debt. In January 2019, Law Finance Group alleged Tom used a $15 million loan to fund Erika’s 50 inch ponytail his “lavish lifestyle”. Well, Erika might find herself bothered now, thanks to new developments.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, a company called Stillwell Madison filed a federal lawsuit against Erika, Tom, and his law firm Girardi Keese. Stillwell claims to have loaned the firm $5,110,440.38 in 2016.

The company was to be repaid based on the firm’s income. Tom agreed to reveal financial statements regularly and make on-time payments. Stillwell said, “Mr. Girardi re-directed all or part of the proceeds, to which Stillwell was contractually entitled, to himself and his wife in order to sustain their lavish lifestyle and maintain their glamorous public image.” Is it me or does that sound familiar?

Damn you, Lisa Vanderpump! Release these innocent creatures from the vice grips of your revenge! You’re welcome for next season’s storyline… Anyalmostbroke, Stillwell accused Tom of neglecting to make full payments per their agreement. Then Tom fired the glam squad promised to make monthly payments of $500k from October 2018 to September 2019. Now the lenders allege, “Mr. Girardi has never followed through on any of his proposals—reinforcing the indication that he (nor the Firm) has, and continues to not have, any intention of repaying the loan balance.”

Currently, the debt holds a balance of $3,454,804. Erika and Tom are being sued for the full amount plus punitive damages and interest. Stillwell maintains they “would not have provided the Loan had it known that Defendants were going to use the Loan proceeds to, upon information and belief, support Mr. and Mrs. Girardi’s high-end lifestyle.”

My goodness! What a pretty mess Tom and Erika are in. I guess since this didn’t happen with the cast, it won’t be featured next season on RHOBH. Except that everyone will be in court, so maybe it will! What will the ladies will do without having LVP to blame for their numerous financial fiascos? Oh well, Lisa Rinna, watch your spending dear!
