Jenelle Evans, formerly of Teen Mom 2, is a hot mess. Her husband, David Eason, also formerly of Teen Mom 2, scares me. If he is not in prison by this time next year, it is only because he is hiding from the police in a hidden bunker on the Eason family compound (aka “The Land”).
A couple of months ago, David shot and killed the family dog, Nugget, leading to Jenelle’s termination. According to David, he had to shoot Nugget because Nugget snapped at the couple’s two-year-old daughter, Ensley. I’m telling y’all, that’s the logic of someone with a hidden bunker on his property. Following the incident, child protective services removed Jenelle’s three children from The Land.
According to TMZ, Jenelle and David have regained custody of her children. I hope there really is a hidden bunker on The Land, and that those kids know how to lock themselves inside away from David and his crazy.
Jenelle has three children – nine-year-old Jace (who landed Jenelle the MTV gig), four-year-old Kaiser (with baby-daddy number two, Nathan Griffith), and Ensley. Janelle’s mom, Barbara Evans, has had custody of Jace for years. Following the dog shooting, Ensley was also placed with Babs, and Kaiser was with his dad, Nathan.
TMZ also reported that Jenelle argued that her children were not safe in Barbara’s home because Jenelle’s brother, Colin, is unstable. Apparently, Colin is volatile and has had several interactions with the police as of late. So Colin is different than David how, exactly?

Apparently applying the “lesser of two evils” method of lawmaking, the judge sent poor Kaiser and Ensley back to Jenelle and David. I guess since Jace is nine he is old enough to protect himself. Maybe Barbara has a bunker for Jace?
I’m also pretty concerned about Jace – Barbara’s parenting track record is questionable at best. All we can do is cross our fingers and hope Jace has some sort of innate decency that does not get completely trampled by whatever Barbara is doing over there to churn out such stellar contributions to society as Colin and Jenelle.

Honestly, this is a really sad situation all around. I really hope at least one of the alleged adults gets his or her sh*t together for the sake of those poor sweet babies.
