Phaedra Parks’ Ex Apollo Nida Back In Jail For Breaking Halfway House Rules

Well, that was quick. Apollo Nida, ex-husband of former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks, was released from prison in early June. He had been serving time after being arrested for identity theft, bank fraud, and other charges. While his biggest crime might have been getting married to Phaedra in the first place, he does share two beautiful children with her. The couple began divorce proceedings in 2014. Phaedra has since moved on with Tone Loc Kapone and Apollo is currently engaged. Also, has Phaedra ever dated anyone named Bob or does she have a thing about unusual first names?

Apollo was originally supposed to “go asunder” for 8 whole years, but had his pokey term reduced by one year. At the beginning of June, Apollo was back on the streets with next ex-wife fiance, Sherien Almufti. Apparently, their love of being reunited was not strong enough to conquer Apollo’s rebel spirit. Either that or he missed his meals being served on a cafeteria tray.

Sorry gang, Apollo has returned to “camp”. As reported by The Blast, he violated a halfway house rule and went back down to jail town. “According to a representative of the United States Marshals, Nida has been re-arrested only days after being released from custody and placed into a half-way house in Philadelphia.” Maybe Sherien started hounding him about planning their wedding and he figured the safest way out was behind bars.

Apollo and Sherien have been a couple since 2017, shortly after Phaedra filed for divorce. Sherien, who is a real estate agent in Philadelphia, has been ride or die and frequently visited her man while in prison. “Strolling around the neighborhood in Philly, the two still looked united and in love, and even wore matching outfits to celebrate his release.” Sherien still trying to be on television, bless her heart and her hustle.

The article continues, “Nida had a list of rules to follow while living in the halfway home and we’re told he broke technical requirement pertaining to the rules of his release.” I guess we won’t be seeing Apollo on Love After Lockup now. I had such high hopes.

“It’s unclear exactly what rule he violated, but it was enough to alert authorities and get him thrown back in the slammer.” Maybe he decided going back to jail was easier than buying a new wardrobe.

Apollo was taken into custody at the Philadelphia Federal Court House and put back into the system. Now he could stay there until his original release date of October 15, 2019. Well, at least he has a shot at getting out before Halloween…

It is not currently known if Apollo will challenge the court’s decision. Perhaps next time he gets out, it will stick.
