‘Ole Jim Bob Dad Jeans Edmonds has gotten himself into a bit of hot water. Jimmy isn’t exactly burdened by the anchor of loyalty. It has recently been discovered he has been engaging in extremely inappropriate text conversations with another woman. Problem is, Jim has been married to former Real Housewives of Orange County detective star, Megan Edmonds since 2014. The couple share twin sons, and daughter Aspen.
Jimbo has always traveled a lot for his career. Spending time away from his wife and family spawned rumors of infidelity. ALLEGEDLY he has always been a cheater never been much of a one-woman man. Now Jim has been caught with his pants down, both figuratively and literally. In the aftermath, Meghan is dealing with the betrayal, and navigating it with three small children. Jim has called his indiscretion a “lapse in judgement”, and Meghan is sharing her feelings on his stupidity actions.
In a very personal blog entry, Meghan shared two words with her fans, “I’m sad.” What follows is a raw and exposed Meghan, explaining her thoughts on Jim and her marriage.
“I found out the same way you guys did: in the tabloids. I never left a voicemail for the other woman. I called Jimmy and he confessed to me that he had exchanged lewd photos with this woman over the course of several months and a physical relationship never existed. He paid her off to protect me so I’d never find out.” He paid her off to protect himself, I would think.
Meghan continued, “Do I believe him? I don’t know. Because I don’t trust him anymore. Physical or not, he still had an affair and he admits this to me. I’m a simple girl. I wanted a solid marriage. I’m as loyal as they come and I wanted the vows we made when we exchanged our rings to be acted upon. Now my wedding ring symbolizes fraud.” How she is not running to the courthouse to file divorce papers is beyond me. How much more evidence does one need? Is Jimmy Bo Bob really that great of a smooth talker?

Reading her words, you can feel how hurt Meghan is. “I did nothing wrong, I don’t deserve this. So what is so broken in him to propel him to do this to me? To us? It wasn’t one mistake, one lapse in judgment. I saw the texts – each one represents his decision to throw our marriage in the trash.” Meghan, girl, I will personally pay for an Uber to your lawyer’s office. RUN MEGHAN, RUN!
Meghan admits, “I don’t care about my stupid massive house, I don’t care about my new car, I don’t care about my diamonds. What does any of that mean when I can’t have the most basic needs met? It means nothing. Smoke and mirrors. I love him. How can I turn my feelings around so quickly? How can one person decide to utterly ruin me? It’s not fair. I sob so much my face stings from the salt from my tears. I am exhausted. My poor kids aren’t getting their devoted mother. And it’s only been 36 hours.”

Even worse than Jim’s veneers despicable texts, their son Hart might be suffering from a neurological disorder. Meghan said, “It’s been the most trying last couple months of my entire life and we still don’t have answers. Sometimes I leave the house after the kids go to bed so I can drive around and ugly cry in the dark with no one around. Now I have this to deal with: my one true love betraying me in the most disgusting and public way possible.”
Ultimately, Meghan only blames Jim and not “the other woman”. “I do not fault any other person except my husband. There are so many people out there with bad intentions and it’s our responsibility to ignore and rise above.” Jim has definitely been rising above, just not in the manner Meghan wants. She goes on to say, “Marriage is a choice on the bad days. And on the good days marriage is easy and beautiful. No one said it would be easy, I just didn’t think it would be this hard.” It’s not hard for people with a moral compass not to cheat, I’ve heard…

Perhaps Jim thinks he has gotten away with his “lapse in judgment”. Maybe Meghan will find comfort in his apologies and several Louis Vuitton bags. But Jim might want to watch himself once Meghan goes from sad to mad.
