Jill Zarin Invited Real Housewives Of New York To Film At Her Birthday, But They All Declined

Jill Zarin was one of the OG’s on Real Housewives of New York when it debuted in 2008.  She appeared with Ramona Singer, Bethenny Frankel, Luann de Lesseps, and Alex McCord.  Then Jill was fired after season 4 along with Alex and Kelly Bensimon.

Unlike some former Real Housewives who fade away like Jules Wainstein and Kristen Taekman, Jill has tried to regain her apple ever since.  Her role model may be former BFF Bethenny who left and came back. Jill has tried to stay relevant with press interviews and cameo appearances on the show. That included filming at the funeral of husband Bobby Zarin, who died from cancer.

Daily Mail reported that Jill still isn’t sure how many appearances she’ll make in the future. “I don’t know if they’re actually gonna have me on the show or not, which makes me a little sad,” Jill said in an appearance on TalkShopLive.

Jill was referring to an exchange with cast members that might be shown on an upcoming episode. “The thing was, what I filmed was inviting them to a birthday party I was having, and they didn’t wanna come. The girls didn’t wanna do it, so it just never happened.”

Jill said that she filmed “three or four” segments for the show’s current season.  However, she’s not sure if she will actually make it into the episodes. “I might be on next week,” Jill said. “I saw the back of my head in the commercial tonight in the red, cashmere-like cape.”  Jill’s new boyfriend Gary Brody accompanied her to the appearance. Jill connected with Gary over tennis.

Jill said she was not sure if she would be part of BravoCon, a fan event that will be held in New York this fall. “I don’t know if they’ll invite me or not or what that’s about. But I think it’s gonna be great for the fans.” Of course, Jill would go if she was invited. She would attend the opening of an envelope.

Jill talked about the most important lesson from the show: “That you can change and you can grow,” and that “There’s a balance between having too many friends, too much social-and having none.”  Jill noted that the people most important to have around are those “Who authentically care about you.”  Oddly enough, I agree with Jill.
