On the last episode of Married At First Sight, decision day is less than one week away and the couples are still stuck at the second honeymoon from hell with AJ Vollmoeller. Things get tense when Kate Sisk reveals to Luke Cuccurullo, she not only told one expert, but another cast-mate about their secret sex life. Will her fantasy of a happy marriage end tonight or will she continue to be used and hurt?
The men are cooking for the women and there is only one man missing… Will Guess. He is missing all the fun, sleeping away the crazy from the night before. Jasmine McGriff, of course, had to go wake him up because she didn’t want her man to have peace miss the fun. Jasmine confides with the ladies that at times she feels like Will can be cold. Stephanie Sersen shares she doesn’t know if her decision should be based on the future or the past month. We have all seen him go off on her just about every week. If he acts that way in front of the cameras, Steph needs to RUN before the cameras disappear.
Will is wide awake and tells the guys he is on the fence about whether he will stay with his wife. Luke lies to everyone as usual when he says that he and Kate have just been living and haven’t discussed decision day. Please roll the tapes back when she just asked this balding troll him for a divorce the other week. I would say that classifies as a discussion about a decision on your marriage.
The girls question Kate about her issues in her marriage. She reveals that intimacy is still awkward because Luke still isn’t attracted to her physically. You can just sense the pity oozing from the other women as she talks about her predicament. They encourage her to have an honest conversation about what she needs. Little do they know the depths of crazy that lies within Luke and Kate’s relationship. I feel like Luke is that guy on the news who commits some heinous crime and all the neighbors who are interviewed thought he was so nice. Stay Woke!
Later, Jasmine and Kate talk privately about their challenges in their marriages. Jasmine shares her dismay about the lack of sexual chemistry in her marriage. Kate reveals her big secret, that she has actually been having sex since the wedding, despite her husband’s lack of attraction. Jasmine is clearly shocked, but can’t focus beyond her own sexual deprivation.

Keith Dewar surprises Kristine Killingsworth with a trip to Motel 6 with a giant martini glass tub. Ummm.. eww. This is the weirdest and most uncomfortable looking tub I have ever seen. I would expect to see something like this on Hotel Nightmares rather than this show. At least Kristine was a good sport. I would have run back to the car with my hand sanitizer to leave this rent-by-the-hour room.
Kate worries when she asks Luke about decision day and he says he doesn’t think about it all. Duh, he has known he was going to divorce you since you walked down the aisle! This is just laughable at this point. Kate finally reveals she talked to Dr. Pepper Schwartz about their sexual relationship. Immediately Luke is defensive and says he wasn’t surprised because she shares everything that she promised would be between just them. This is when she has another emotional breakdown. Let that divorce come sooner rather than later, please.
Honestly, I can’t feel bad for Kate anymore. If a grown woman wants to allow a man to treat her so poorly and just accept it so she can have the title of “wife”, by all means. This is like the never-ending saga of desperation and manipulation. It’s just pathetic at this point. Kate, please get some help. Even a good guy isn’t going to be attracted to a woman who wants someone to love them before they truly love themselves. I think Luke is a sociopath and I am glad he has been outed for the person he truly is.

Jasmine and Will take a nature walk and discuss their upcoming decision. Will is not giving her the hope she wants. Will may be too honest for Jasmine. I don’t want him to lie, but his responses definitely make him hard to read. In the end, I fear Jasmine will only be left with her high expectations and wedding dress as a memory of her failed marriage.
On the car ride home, Luke berates Kate like a child about telling their secret. He goes back to telling her that she has a drinking problem and her behavior isn’t changing. Honestly, I really hope Lifetime is going to pay for the counseling Kate will need after being terrorized for the past month by Luke. I am upset that the producers and experts would allow a person to be emotionally tortured on television every single week. This man would drive anyone to drink with his mind games. After having enough of the drama, Kate puts in earphones and sits quietly and ends the conversation. JUST BREAK UP ALREADY!!!!!!!!!
Side note: Someone posted some pictures of Luke before he appeared on the show. Umm… Kate, let’s just say, your non- exotic looks and your “drinking” may not be real reason he isn’t into you. Run!!!!!
