On last night’s episode of Married at First Sight, the couples entertain and meet each other’s friends for the first time. This proves to be stressful for one couple in particular. Number one enemy of the fans, Luke Cuccurullo continues his mistreatment of Kate Sisk. The party quickly became a shy person’s worst nightmare. Kate looks more like a guest than a hostess in her own house. I thought after Pastor Calvin Roberson lit into spoke to Luke, things may have changed. Ugh… will this man ever grow up and stop making this woman feel totally insecure? Will Kate decide to win over her guests or fold under the pressure?
The couples wake up as husband and wife after their first night at their new homes. Keith Dewar and Kristine Killingsworth reveal that they finally had sex. I found it shocking that Keith admitted it was quick. Hmm… you may want to keep that to yourself. They both feel like they could be falling in love with one another.
Jasmine McGriff micromanages Will Guess while he tries to cook breakfast. Geez… Jasmine you want him to lead the household, but don’t allow him to step up. She is still unhappy that her husband hasn’t tried to have sex with her yet. Stephanie Sersen and AJ Vollmoeller have their first breakfast in their home. AJ explains why he seemed so frustrated during their move. Ummm… because he is crazy. He tells her “you don’t know how to handle me”. WTF! He wants to be able to vent and Stephanie should just brush it off. So let me get this straight…. He wants to have childish tantrums and his WIFE should just deal with them? No wonder this man has eaten dinner alone for so long. Who the hell would want to deal with that?

The wives get together for some girl talk. Jasmine feels that her and Will have a great friendship. She is still waiting on the romance to increase. Kristine is still in post-coital bliss and has no complaints. It’s obvious that Kate isn’t having as much luck in her marriage, simply by looking at her face. She claims they get along, the romance part just isn’t there yet. Kate has to be the most optimistic and forgiving person in the world. I don’t know if she is saving face or if she truly believes her marriage has a chance.
Meanwhile, the husbands get together to hang out. The group discusses their meetings with Pastor Calvin. Luke explains the comments that lead to their conversation. Even AJ couldn’t believe he made those statements. The topic of sex comes up and its clear AJ and Keith are further along than the other men in their relationships.

Dr. Pepper Schwartz visits with Keith and Kristine. They reveal that they didn’t use contraception when they had sex. Ugh… I know they are married, but you literally just met this man. Even Dr. Pepper is shocked. Let’s just hope these people have all had STD tests. There is actually a pregnant pause in the room when they are reminded that it only takes one time to get pregnant.
The experts ask all the couples to host a party with their friends. Kate is nervous about everyone mingling together. Keith and Kristine entertain friends and family at their home. The question of the night was whether they had sex. Kristine reveals she isn’t ready for kids just yet.
Will and Jasmine are having fun with friends. Then, someone asks about sex. These are some of the nosiest and blunt friends. Will quickly tells everyone they are working on a deeper connection. Jasmine agrees with her husband, but we all know she wants to have sex NOW. She is ready to have kids, so sex is important. I think Will may be avoiding sex, so he doesn’t end up a father before he plans to be. Jasmine is clearly on a mission. I’m not saying she would try to trap him, but…. Insert side eye.
AJ and Stephanie each bring two of their closest friends to a restaurant. The friends share funny stories and insights about them from before they were married. Hmm.. Did AJ not want anyone at their house? I guess their home is reserved for their forced dinners together. They were the only couple to entertain their friends outside of the home.

Kate meets Luke’s friends. Some of them don’t even know her name. Kate only invited three friends, but Luke invited everyone he knew since college. Kate clearly starts to feel uncomfortable with so many people at the party. She feels like its Luke’s party, rather than THEIR party. Did he really expect Kate to feel comfortable as an outcast in her own house? Did he think this was supposed to be a speed dating event instead of an intimate party?
There is no way Kate would be able to get to know that many people. At one point, Luke comments “I hate when people act weird in public and stand in the corner.” He must have realized he is being filmed. Suddenly he tries to actually make her feel comfortable and bring people into her space so she can meet them. At the end of the night Luke gives Kate a peck and she practically gushes like a school girl. Chile, please. Kate, please find your self respect, self-esteem, and self-worth! It’s weird how Kate continues to drool over her husband after the way he has treated her. They do these cutesy vlogs alone, but the problems are obvious when the camera crew is there.
