Cynthia Bailey and her man Mike Hill just hit a milestone in their relationship. The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member and her boyfriend just went on their first trip together.
Sure, that doesn’t sound like a huge deal. This is especially true since RHOA viewers just saw Cynthia psych herself out for a marriage proposal that did not happen. However, the “airplane chemistry” is actually a big deal to Cynthia.
Before their trip to Ghana, Cynthia told Page Six, “He lives in LA, I live in Atlanta. So he flies to me or I fly to him but we’ve never actually flown on a plane together.”
Then, Cynthia explained, “So I know as excited as I am to get to Ghana, I’m really more excited about actually flying together with Mike because I’m like, ‘Do we have airplane chemistry or do we not?’” Ummm. What is airplane chemistry?

After, Cynthia elaborated, “I like to sleep on a plane. I’m like, ‘Is he gonna talk my ear off the whole flight? What’s going to happen?’ I don’t eat airplane food. I take my own food on the flight. I’m like, ‘Do I gotta pack stuff for him? Does he eat airplane food?’ I mean it’s a lot to figure out!”
Thankfully, they nailed that whole “airplane chemistry” situation. Cynthia confirmed this in an Instagram post. She wrote, “This is our first flight & first vacation together. Wasn’t sure if we had airplane chemistry lol. After being in the air with @itsmikehill for 16 hours, I can confirm that we do!”
And, hopefully, it doesn’t seem like airplane ride wasn’t the only good thing about the trip. The Atlanta Housewife shared lots of photos from her time with Mike in Ghana.
