If longtime Real Housewives of New Jersey fans know anything, it is that what you see isn’t always what you get with Danielle Staub. I’m looking at you, Jacqueline Laurita and Caroline Manzo!) And now, Margaret Josephs is finally accepting that fact.
So far in Season 9 of RHONJ, we have seen Danielle lose her mind because Margaret was invited, and wanted to attend, Dolores Catania’s ax throwing party. If I was Danielle, I would be afraid of all the women who have an ax to grind with me.
“We are not close. She’s not my people,” Margaret told Page Six. Apparently, Danielle’s teary and angry melt-down in her kitchen caught Margaret by surprise. “Never in my life have I had someone have that reaction. Grown women don’t behave that way,” Margaret stated.
While Margaret was in Oklahoma, Danielle even brought Marge Senior a smoothie while she recovered from her facelift. Of course, Margaret was truly appreciative. To salvage their sinking friendship, Margaret invited Danielle over to discuss their falling-out. While no one flipped a table at their meeting, their truce didn’t last.

“I truly wanted to make up with her,” Margaret explained. “And she really was like icy with me and it didn’t even click to me at that moment … I think our relationship unraveled from there.”
There is bound to be even more Danielle wedding drama as the season progresses. Margaret and Melissa Gorga served as bridesmaids, while Teresa Giudice was the matron of honor at the ceremony. In case you blinked and missed it, Danielle wed Marty Caffrey in May 2018. Unfortunately, she hired a divorce attorney in August. Then Marty listed their shared house for sale without telling Danielle.
