Sonja Morgan and Bethenny Frankel’s relationship has come a long way since the days when they were at odd over the “cheater brand” alcohol controversy. Now Sonja is Bethenny’s go-to girl in the Real Housewives of New York cast- something she could really use these days given the death of her ex-boyfriend Dennis Shields.
Sonja opened up about how Bethenny is handling his passing and even discussed the new guy Bethenny was recently spotted with.
In an interview with Us Weekly, Sonja shared, “I think I could say safely that we’ve all been there for her. She’s been through a lot as well. We all go through a lot.” Sonja continued, “You know, New Yorkers, we have a lot of grit. All my girlfriends in New York have grit. We’re independent. We work. We’re mothers. We’re girlfriends. We’re wives. We’re ex-wives.”

On a happier note, Sonja discussed the new guy Bethenny was spotted with. she teased, “Well, I don’t know if it’s a boyfriend. You’ll have to wait to find out from Bethenny.” Sonja also remarked, “all [of Bethenny’s] guys are handsome.” Oh, Sonja.
Sonja continued, “All I can say from my side of the road looking from the outside in because I’m not gonna tell anything from the inside out, I’m just happy to see her holding hands with somebody.” Aaw that’s sweet.
Sonja said, “I don’t want her to be alone, and being a divorced mom, it’s hard, because you’re there for your kid 100 percent or let’s say 99 percent, and then the other 1 percent of your time, you should have someone.” Will this someone be featured on the next season of Real Housewives of New York? Most likely not, but if he is he will be rocking some Skinnygirl jeans and sipping on a Skinnygirl cocktail.
