Sometimes the real drama happens away from the camera in the Real Housewives franchise. Case in point, Real Housewives of Orange County alum Alexis Bellino’s ex Jim Bellino is suing Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador for $1 million dollars in response to comments they made about him during a podcast interview.
As if that was not absurd enough, former Real Housewives of Orange County cast members Gretchen Rossi and her fiance Slade Smiley volunteered to testify against Tamra and Shannon, even though they have absolutely nothing to do with this case. At all. Although Gretchen now claims they were subpoenaed to do so.
Understandably, Tamra asked a judge to not allow Gretchen and Slade to testify against her and Shannon, according to court documents obtained by The Blast.

Tamra says that Jim’s case is based on “foundationless, conclusory hearsay” from Gretchen and Slade. Tamra also says that Gretchen has “no role in the case”- duh. This is just ridiculous. Jim is making this whole situation so much more dramatic than it ever needed to be.
Tamra and Shannon’s initial podcast comments did not gain much traction, but Jim is really making this whole thing a way bigger deal.
