We don’t really “know” Tinsley Mortimer yet since she’s only appeared in two Real Housewives of New York episodes and she hasn’t been a part of any drama at this point. Still, I can feel something brewing since she is Sonja Morgan’s house guest and the woman is infuriating both Dorinda Medley and Luann de Lesseps these days.
Is Tinsley going to make her own judgments about the cast members or will she be conflicted since she’s staying at Sonja’s townhouse? I’m sure that this is a dilemma that Tinsley will face and hopefully she knows better than to go up against Dorinda on Sonja’s behalf. That will not end well for her. At all.

Since Tinsley hasn’t even met all of the cast members at this point and she’s only shooting comic relief scenes with Sonja at the townhouse, her second Bravo blog isn’t the juiciest read.
She discussed Sonja’s granny panties: “With her constant talk about sex and her playful, wild side, granny panties seem a bit incongruous! But these townhouse walls are thin and the grannies are working for her, surprisingly. Trust me! I still can’t help but feel a drastic need to ‘weed’ out some of her lingerie choices!” I really wish that they showed a lot more about what it’s like to live with Sonja. I just imagine Tinsley has seen (and heard) so much. This would be a great spin-off: different people living with Sonja for a week and reporting back on the experience.
But anyway, Tinsley is about to walk into the lions den and she is walking in with the current cast pariah (Sonja) by her side. She admitted, “I was a bit nervous to travel out to the Hamptons for a night with the girls. I used to go to Southampton every weekend in the summer with my former husband, but I was getting the vibe that this trip wasn’t going to be quite as relaxing.” Definitely not. I always think that I would need another vacation to recover from a “vacation” with the Housewives. These trips are just always so intense.
The new cast member recalled, “Since I had only met these ladies once before, to say I was freaking out would be an understatement.” I don’t blame her, this is a tough bunch of women.
Tinsley explained, “I had also heard a lot about them from my current roommate…especially this Dorinda character! I just didn’t know what to expect. Would she be like the Wicked Witch of the West or the East? God forbid I actually like the girl and upset Sonja! I’m so grateful for her moving me into her house, but I really don’t want to get caught in the crossfires of their battle!” It’s a real Catch 22. She’s damned if Dorinda likes her and damned if she doesn’t. It should (hopefully) be interesting to see how Tinsley navigates the situation.
She added, “I wanted to keep an open mind about everything since the party at Sonja’s went well, and everyone seemed pretty nice. But you know how a trip with the girls can go…” Yes, we do.
Tinsley teased, “All I can say is I hope Luann is right, and the townhouse will bring me some good karma…I think I’m going to need it at Ramona’s [Singer] party.” Which looks like a shit show and a half with Dorinda coming after Sonja.
