Vanderpump Rules star Jax Taylor kicked off his apology tour tonight on Watch What Happens Live. He profusely apologizes to Brittany Cartwright for spreading things about her and Kristen Doute – whether true or not. He also confirms that Lala Kent was dating a married man.
Jax laughs during a clip of Kristen saying that the night she and Brittany kissed was a blur, but he is going to refrain from commenting because he keeps getting himself in trouble over it. “Listen, whether it did or did not happen, it’s in the past. I was more mad because I couldn’t get into the house! I was so mad, trying to call Brittany, I was coming home from SUR, I had a couple drinks and I was just angry because she wasn’t answering her phone. So when I got in, I could care less if she was sleeping with girls or not, I was just so mad because I couldn’t get in the house, so I kind of took it out on her. What I saw really didn’t help but..”
After Andy plays a clip of Katie Maloney accusing Lala Kent of dating a married guy, Jax confirms that it’s true.
A viewer wants to know why Jax would hurt his girlfriend by spreading rumors about her? “It was a mistake and I’m sorry and I apologize. I shouldn’t have ran off, I was just mad and angry and I didn’t know what to do. I was kind of just in shock. It happened six months ago and it was stupid.” He reiterates that he doesn’t think her hooking up with girls is cheating.
Andy asks if Jax thinks a big part of why Brittany was so mad at him is because he was sharing it on camera and her family would see it? “Probably. I shouldn’t have spoke about it. It’s something I should have respect for my girlfriend and talked about it together. I’m sorry and she knows that. It was a mistake. We all make it. Mine just happens to be on TV.”
Andy brings Brittany on to share her side of things and he asks her if it part of her anger was embarrassment that her family would see Jax‘s accusations on the show. “Definitely that, but also I felt like he completely betrayed me by even talking about anything like that in the first place.” She wants to make it clear that Kristen 100% did not go down on her. “I don’t know what Jax thinks he saw, but it did not happen.”
A caller asks Jax if Kristen just tried to hook up with Brittany to get back at him and then slips in a question about how much cocaine he uses. They pretty much gloss over it and he mumbles something about drinking and having fun.
Another viewer wants to know why Jax continues to self-sabotage. He doesn’t answer, just whines that he’d like a nice question for once.
The next caller asks Jax to give some insight on what’s going on with Shay and Scheana. “To be totally honest with you, I don’t know. I haven’t talked to Scheana or Shay in a while. I have no idea what’s going on. We’ve been traveling. We haven’t been home.”
