Oh goodness. When are we going to stop rewarding bad behavior? Who I am kidding? It’s clearly the American way! Well, if we’re going to give a reality train wreck another set of cameras and a captive audience, I guess Jenelle Evans is as deserving as anyone. There won’t be a shortage of drama, that’s for sure!
The Teen Mom 2 star has allowed us into her life (and her court hearings and her drug testing and her prison cell and so on and so on) for the past several years. When she’s not being arrested for parole violations or swapping boyfriends or having babies, Jenelle likes to share with her fans via social media. The mom to six-year-old Jace and two-year-old Kaiser, who is expecting a daughter in January with a new beau, recently tweeted about suing a television network. Is she planning to bite the hand that feeds her?

According to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, Jenelle isn’t angry with MTV, but instead, she has beef with WETv, clarifying (sort of) on Twitter last week, “This was about a different show I’m appearing on… Nothing to do with MTV.”
Despite some skepticism from Jenelle’s followers (what, like she’s untrustworthy?), the site claims that Jenelle was, in fact, signed on for a new reality show with a different network. While the show’s working title is unknown, it reportedly had a similar format to VH1’s Family Therapy. Jenelle and her mother Barbara had apparently signed to appear, with Jenelle’s latest baby daddy David Eason along for the ride.

Surprisingly, MTV gave its blessing in regard to Jenelle’s stint on the show (the network was probably happy she was getting therapy on someone else’s dime!) even though WETv isn’t a part of Viacom, MTV’s parent company. With MTV on board, what network is Jenelle threatening with a lawsuit?
This unnamed therapy show is supposedly starting to film next month, and WETv has allegedly pulled the plug on Jenelle’s appearance after her latest pregnancy announcement. Unfortunately, per the site’s sources, Jenelle had already signed a contract with WETv and is in talks with her lawyer to plan her next move.
Knowing Jenelle, this situation is sure to get much more interesting!
