Dancing With The Stars revolving ballroom continues!
The most recent former pro to return to the show is Maksim Chmerkovskiy – who confirmed he’s back for season 23!
Maks left the show in season 18 after a difficult season and amid rumors that he was tired of favoritism on the show. His brother has consistently remained a pro and it is Val Chmerkovskiy whom we have to thank for convincing ‘The Hotness’ to make his comeback, and also for Maks being in the best shape of his life. C’mon Season 23 – get here quick for the shirtless Maks dances!

“I feel great,” gushed Maks. “I’m just excited. It’s very different than any season that I’ve done. I’m looking forward to that new way of being on the show.” (Maks’s partner is rumored to be Amber Rose).
Val echoed that sentiment, telling GMA, “It’s a new show” which will combine classic ballroom dancers with a “new generation” of pros with different energy.
Sadly Maks will not compete against his fiance Peta Murgatroyd, who is working on a baby this season instead of a Mirror Ball Trophy! “It’s phenomenal,” Maks said of Peta’s growing belly and the excitement over their son.
Also missing from the pro list is Kym Johnson, who is skipping the season to focus on her new marriage to Robert Herjavec, whom she met on the show!

The full list of pros and partnerships will be announced on GMA August 30th. In the meantime more and more celeb dancers have been leaking!
Joining the rumored lineup which already boasts Teresa Giudice and Amber Rose, are failed reality star and scandal-plagued Olympian Ryan Lochte. Along with Terra Jole who will be the first ever little person to participate in the show!
ET confirms the Little Women LA star and Ryan will also be joined by former Brady Bunch star Maureen McCormick (said to be paired with pro Artem Chigvintsev), ex-Seventh Heaven star Beverley Mitchell, and Kenny “Baby Face” Edmonds which is the most WTF head-shaking contestant to me. I mean, really? And he’s willing to return to reality TV after his last experience?
Sources also say that Maks’ old rival Derek Hough is returning as a pro, while his sister Julianne Hough will continue on as a judge. (Yuck and Yuck).
