With just one more episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion left to go, we are saying goodbye to Kim Fields. Kim confirmed this week past week that she won’t be returning for a second season of the reality show. Rumor has it that it wasn’t the cast that drove her away, but poor treatment by Bravo?!
Page Six reported that Kim is floored over the positive way she’s being treated over at ABC on Dancing with the Stars because things were reportedly not so good on RHOA. “They treated her awful. Once she got a taste of how one should be treated, and that would be how ABC is treating her, she’s like, ‘Screw this s–t, man!’ She’s very happy on ‘Dancing,’ doing well.”
The source says Kim has been easy going on the set of DWTS because she’s so happy to be treated so well. “Kim was gracious, wonderful, could not stop thanking everyone because Bravo treats her so badly.” Bravo didn’t comment on the story to Page Six, but you have to take these stories with a grain of salt. I would guess that it’s more the cast, producers and the editing more than Bravo as a whole that “mistreated” her. Not that it matters at this point since she refuses to come back.
In other Kim news, she shared a few thoughts on this week’s reunion episode. She starts off laughing about bad-ass Sheree Whitfield. Bravo asked her what was going through her mind when Sheree was discussing the “wig shift” of Kim Zolciak. “Kim’s Inner Monologue at That Moment: Note to self, don’t mess with Sheree!”
On relating to Phaedra’s tears over her children, “Our challenges may be different as mothers, but the adventures in parenting — being responsible for raising children who are healthy physically, emotionally, and spiritually — are similar.”
Our “challenges may be different” = my husband isn’t in prison.
She gushed over Ayden the Adorable. “Wasn’t he adorable? I’d watch The Ayden Show! Andy Cohen is great at spotting talent!”
