Gosh, it seems like so long ago that the last season of The Biggest Loser concluded, and yet, fans still haven’t been given an update as to when the new season will begin. But while we may not have an actual air date (based on past runs, we are guessing after the new year), it looks like we’re finally getting some news about the show and what we can expect when the new season gets here.
First, we learned that Alison Sweeney would be stepping down as the host, and then it was announced that beloved trainer, Bob Harper, would be taking over the host position. We also know that both Dolvett Quince and Jen Widerstrom will be returning, and it looks like our favorite doctor, Dr. Huizenga, is also returning. What’s more is that Dr. H recently dished on the new season, and guess what? He revealed that there will be two celebrities contestants this season! Who could it be?

Now, this just got interesting. While we wait for the new season premiere date of The Biggest Loser to be released, it looks like some details are being leaked. “We have two celebrity additions. I’ll probably get chastised by NBC publicity, but we have two nugget surprises in there,” Dr. Huizenga, also known as simply Dr. H told People Magazine recently.

But who could possibly be joining? For quite some time now, Rob Kardashian has been rumored to have been joining the show, but then it was said that he actually turned it down. Could it be Kardashian? He’s definitely looking a lot slimmer these days. Could be, but for now, we’re going to have to wait to find out. “I can’t tell you who, but a lot of sweat is coming from them this season,” Dr. H went on to add.
