If last week’s premiere of Love & Hip Hop Hollywood was any indication, this season could prove to be as entertaining as its Atlanta counterpart! Sure, Ray J is no Stevie J, but Princess can fight with the best of them, Omarion is endearing, Soulja Boy is sure to be as ridiculously juvenile as last year, and can we just talk about the fact that Moniece is responsible for a Rich Dollaz crossover? Let’s not forget Miles and Milan’s love that Miles doesn’t feel comfortable sharing with friends and family…only with hundreds of thousands of VH1 viewers! Keep up the momentum, folks!
Last night’s episode begins with a swagalicious Soulja who is in a good place with on-and-off girlfriend Nia. Like every other woman on this show, she’s quick to complain about her beau’s infidelities, but even quicker to forgive. Lil’ Fizz is working hard on a mix tape, and he’s excited to catch up with Soulja. Fizz brags about embracing the single life, and Soulja can relate (sorry, Nia). Nis is his ride-or-die chick, but when he’s on the road, he’s on the road. Soulja claims Nia is fully aware of his road chicks (is she?), and she knows she’s the only girl in his heart. Speaking of players (of the reformed variety), Rich is head over heels for Moniece. While their relationship is fairly new, both are hoping for home run. For Rich, that means, he’s planned a sexy date. For Moniece, that means she wants Rich to move to the West Coast and meet her son and spend time with her family and reverse his vasectomy (or did she say get a vasectomy? Either way…whoa). Sexy talk! After dropping those bombs, Moniece turns on the charm to get their romantic dinner back on track.

Teairra Mari and Nikki are collaborating on a fashion show so the former can showcase her blazer line while the latter touts her lingerie. They are meeting with Nas, a newbie who can get the girls the perfect models. As the women gossip, Nas admits that she’s having boy trouble with her on-and-off boy Soulja Boy, and reveals that she met him through her former friend Nia. As Nia’s friend, Nikki begins to interrogate Nas. Both she and Teairra remind Nas that there is no happiness in being a side chick, and she needs to remember that Soulja is currently parading Nia around as his girlfriend.
At a local strip club, Miles and Milan are making it rain for naked ladies because it’s the only place they can go in public as a couple…even though they just appear to be friends. Milan wishes that Miles was open enough to share their love, and he wants to take the next step and move in together. Miles needs to pump the breaks a bit even though he’s totally smitten with Milan. Across town, Teairra is styling Miles’ ex Amber in her blazer and Nikki’s lingerie and dishing on dudes with Moniece. Amber is hoping that things are turning around for her and Miles, and Moniece is glowing due to her relationship with Rich. Teairra rehashes her forgiving interaction with a teary Princess at Apryl Jones’ spa party. After giving it more thought, Teairra wonders why she felt the need to be so soft when it came to her mortal enemy. She shares that the two are meeting for drinks, and Moniece warns her to watch her back. Teairra fully intends to keep her friends close and her enemies closer.
After her conversation with Nas, Nikki is shopping with Nia and can’t wait to relay the gossip that Soulja is being unfaithful. Nikki’s loyalty is with Nia, so she just had to share. Nia can’t believe that thirsty THOT is still after her man boy, but she knows her place with Soulja. She can’t confront every woman who claims to be sleeping with Soulja, and at the end of the day, she’s the one he comes home to each night. That’s a great relationship, I’d say! Nikki invites Nia to Nas’ boot camp so she can confront her one-time roommate. Meanwhile, Rich is reeling from Moniece’s demands, and he wants her to make sacrifices as well. He requests that she cover the tattoo of her first boyfriend, and she concedes…if he’ll decided to stay in LA forever. He should bring his pet rabbit with him!
Princess and Teairra are meeting for drinks and Princess extends the invitation for the two to forge a friendship. Teairra is game…and she hopes that Princess will provide her some Ray J information that she can use in her relationship. Princess muses that she’s one more incident away from leaving Ray for good. Again. She’s tired of being cooped up in his house while he parties, and Teairra encourages her to get out more. If fact, Teairra is going to a party at Drake’s, and Princess is more than welcome to tag along!
Could there be trouble in paradise for Miles and Milan? Milan notices that Miles has been a bit distant since he mentioned co-habitating. He’s planned a intimate dinner at home, but Miles is nowhere to be found. Instead, Miles is across town supporting Amber’s daughter Zoe at her dance lesson. He’s been like a father figure to Zoe since her dad died, and Amber has always been his closest friend. He ponders how his coming out could affect them both. That evening, Princess is ready to head out on the town, but Ray isn’t keen to her tit-for-tat mentality. He just wants things to get back to normal, when he could do whatever he wanted and she sat home waiting on him. Ray questions why she has a overnight bag, but she vaguely mentions she may not come home. Ray apologizes and he reminds her she’s not allowed to go out with so much side boob. She needs to get back inside. No can do…she’s going to meet her new bestie Teairra who was so right about what kind of guy Ray is.
Moniece and Rich head to the tattoo parlor so she can get her tattoo covered. Her willingness to to this shows Rich where her heart is, but he admits he would have had to live with it had she not agreed to it. Moniece would like a even trade-off…tattoo cover up in exchange for them moving in together. Wait what? Rich isn’t ready for such a commitment, but Moniece reminds him she comes with a plethora of sex toys and threesomes. Later, Ray approaches Teairra to find out why she’s been conversing with Princess. Teairra is confused…she thought that Ray wanted to apologize to her for all the lies he spread about her last season. She composes herself and remembers her mission…operation break-up.
On the morning of Nas’ bootcamp, Nikki invites Nia and Apryl, and she can’t wait to see what kind of drama unfolds. Nas confronts Nia about their friendship and Soulja. Teairra tries to mediate as the women start arguing before Nia threatens to punch Nas in the face. Nia thinks Nas is delusional. If she leaves Soulja, he certainly wouldn’t run to Nas. Apryl takes over as referee but is soon replaced by actual production goons. Nas is carried away screaming, “How do I taste?” Geez Louise.
