Now here’s a great way for Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Joe and Melissa Gorga to make a quick $20,000! Their car dealer buddy Bobby Khan is wanted by the FBI and there’s a $20K reward for info on his whereabouts!
Melissa and Jacqueline Laurita might want to keep better company in the future! Their car dealer buddy Bobby Khan (aka Afzal Khan), owner of Emporio Motor Group, is not just being investigated for fraud, he’s now a wanted man!
According the FBI, he is wanted for defrauding customers and banks. Khan obtained loans for cars that were never delivered, obtained loans for vehicles without proper titles and issued NSF checks! He also defrauded consignment customers by never returning their vehicles nor providing the money from the sale of said cars!
According to the FBI: “One financial institution has an estimated exposure of $1.7 million in automobile loans. Additional fraudulent loans, and approximately 75 individual victims, have also been identified.”
A federal arrest warrant was issued for Khan on October 21, 2014, by the United States District Court, District of New Jersey, Newark, New Jersey, after he was charged with wire fraud. They are offering a $20,000 reward for info that leads to his arrest!
I wonder if Melissa had to return her Bentley? Edited to add: I forgot she gave it back last year, reportedly. 😉
