Just one day after adamantly defending her marriage as fine and shouting down accusations of cheating as “ALLEGATIONS” on the Real Housewives of New York reunion Ramona Singer revealed on twitter that she was ending her marriage to Mario. Again.
Perhaps it was a coincidence that the very same day a photo of Mario and mistress Kasey Dexter was released in the tabloids, or perhaps Ramona did not want to spill details at the reunion because she was hoping to sell her divorce story to a tabloid?
Sources assert that Ramona’s true reason for trying to shut down the conversation was she was shopping the story around to several major news organizations and did not want to give away the story for free at the reunion. At the time of taping the couple had been separated for weeks after a disastrous vacation to try and repair their marriage, as well as several arguments over Ramona’s drinking and behavior. However, after Ramona’s failed attempt to make money off her tragedy, she decided to just drop the bomb on twitter.

“Ramona personally called several reporters, offering to sell the exclusive announcement about the split. She was seeking $2,500, but no one bit. Even reducing the price to $500 didn’t generate any interest,” a source reveals.
Perhaps the story was so lackluster because Ramona had previously filed for divorce from Mario after catching him with his mistress in their Hamptons home. For some reason Ramona recanted on the divorce and pretended Mario’s affair never happened. Even though it appears Mario never ended the affair and his mistress repeatedly went to the tabloids with details.
Sources close to Ramona question her sudden desire to talk – especially after she kept insisting their privacy be respected for daughter Avery’s sake. “It’s just bizarre that after shutting down any discussion of Mario’s alleged cheating on the Real Housewives of New York reunion, Ramona was now willing to talk — for a price,” the source wonders to Radar Online.
However another source says Ramona wants to come out on top in the situation and beat Mario and Kasey to the punch by getting her story out first. “Ramona is attempting to pitch her side of the story as the victim, and wants to do a full feature with a friendly celebrity magazine.” If Ramona thinks an outlet like People has an interest in her paltry divorce, she’s wrong.
Well, tonight is the final installment of the RHONY reunion. Aviva and Heather get into it and Aviva’s intentions behind the leg toss are discussed. And Ramona confronts Kristen again, but Kristen refuses to back down!
