Former Jersey Shore star Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino was arrested yesterday outside of a tanning salon of all places. But he was not there to GTL (Gym.Tan.Laundry.). The Situation actually co-owns the Boca Tanning Club with his family and the fight was between him and his brother Frank.
But the real question is…was this a fight or a 'fight.' Mike and the rest of his family are getting set to return to our TVs — please excuse me while I gag — on the TV Guide Network's The Sorrentinos. Which will follow Mike and his family as they open — gasp! — a tanning salon. What better way to drum up a little publicity than by getting arrested outside of the business that will be featured on the show!

"On Tuesday afternoon we responded to a 911 call at Boca in reference to a fight in progress. Upon arrival, our officers arrested Mike Sorrentino for simple assault," Detective Lieutenant Steve Dollinger told PEOPLE magazine. "He is in the process of posting $500 bail and the matter will be set for a court date."
When Mike was spotted leaving jail, he had quite the shiner, which was courtesy of his brother, Frank. He also stopped and spoke to the paps saying that he and his brother had come to blows over how to run their tanning salon business.
Which apparently is not going so well for the Sorrentinos. Just last week TMZ reported that "4 employees from Boca Tanning Club in Middletown, NJ filed a police report claiming their paychecks had bounced all over town."
Cops spoke to Frank Sorrentino and the employees were compensated. But sources close to the situation and The Situation told TMZ, "he was surprised to hear the employees took their complaints to the police since the payroll problem only lasted a few days. He says it was just an innocent mixup because the store changed payroll companies."
Sounds like The Situation should have stuck to perhaps the 'G' and the 'L' — instead of the tanning….
