And this is why I put little to no stock in what celebrities have to say about politics. Sure, they love to talk (and talkandtalkandtalkandtalk) about whatever candidate best fits their personal agenda or is en vogue with the A-listers of Hollywood, but do most of them even have a clue? At best, the extent of Kim Kardashian's political knowledge comes from School House Rock, at worst…well, this is pretty bad.
The reality star was shunned by the Obama campaign, and the President himself once referred to her now husband Kanye West as a "jackass." Classic Barack. Now, Kim is diving head first into local politics, backing California's 33rd District Congressional Candidate Marianne Williamson. So what has Kim contributed to the campaign? Money? Of course not! But she did write a boastful blog about a recent press event with Marianne.

Kim and sister Kourtney attended a star studded campaign party back in April for Marianne hosted by Nicole Richie. According to Radar Online, Kim took to her personal blog after the event to share that she would be voting for Marianne "at the June 3 Primary." No word on whether Kim actually voted yesterday, but I would venture to guess 'no.'
She didn't give any money to the campaign either (nor did hostess Richie or attendee Katy Perry), but Marianne seemed to be well funded by the likes of Candy Spelling, Rainn Wilson, Melanie Griffith, and Eva Longoria…just to name a few.
Of course, in the same blog post, Kim used the party as way to brag about her less than coveted wardrobe, writing, “For this event I was wearing Faith Connexion Paris pants and blazer, Kiki de Montparnasse bodysuit and my fave Tom Ford heels! Xo.” Bless her heart.
While Kim is busy not voting, Kourtney and Khloe are busy continuing to anger the community of Southampton with their upcoming spin-off. But hey, at least they've found a place to live, y'all! After being shunned from many rentals in the upscale beach town, Page Six is reporting that the Kardashian krew will be summering in a 9,000 square foot waterfront property that boasts five bedrooms and a heated pool. The rent for the summer? A reasonable $300,000.
Sources say that the majority of realtors in the area didn't want to work with the family for fear of backlash from the prestigious community. The home is currently on the market for $13.9 million. Chump change.
