Porsha Stewart Williams just settled her divorce and is clearing up why she pretty much walked away with nothing despite Kordell Stewart's wealth.
“I didn’t ask for anything. Right now in the press it’s, 'Porsha didn’t get anything, poor Porsha,’ and people are feeling bad for me and feeling sorry for me because I didn’t get anything and they think that we went to trial and I lost,” Porsha explained to Bethenny Frankel on her talk show. “I didn’t go to trial, I chose not to go to court. So there was no judgment.”

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star confesses that the process of getting divorced was so draining she just wanted it to be over. "It just tore me apart to go through this divorce," Porsha explained. "It was so traumatic! And it ruled over my life. Every single day. And I wanted the freedom – I wanted to be done with it."
"Before we had court the next week, I woke up, I called my attorney… 'I said listen: I'm done with this. Get the divorce decree I'm coming to sign it," Porsha recounts.
Aside from her engagement ring and personal possessions, Porsha requested Kordell cover debts from medical bills incurred during their marriage.
“I said the only thing I want him to do is pay for my hospital bills because I didn’t have insurance. He didn’t have insurance on me or his son,” Porsha reveals. Bethenny was shocked and could not get over the fact that Kordell lived in a massive mansion, was buying Porsha luxury clothes and shoes but didn't have health insurance.
Porsha specifies that Kordell paid her medical debts and she got her car, also. "So I'm good! I'm completely independent." You can catch Porsha's appearance on bethenny tomorrow, Monday March 24th. A video preview is below.
