I realize that I have the benefit of hindsight, but I think I could have told anyone months ago that the two skeeziest (and therefore most entertaining) stars of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta opening a restaurant/bar/club would not have been the best idea. And, of course, I would have been right. Duh!
Besties Stevie J. and no-neck Benzino had the grand opening of their "bistro bar" Sleazy & Zino which ended up in a big ol' mess…as is par for the course with this crew. It's been reported that the fight was instigated by Joseline Hernandez' friend, and Karlie Redd was knocked out in the process. There was even talk that VH1 wouldn't allow regular old folks like you and me party with the cast for fear of a lawsuit in the event of yet another violent outburst. Good times with these guys, for sure!

Now some of the cast involved with the brawl are speaking out about what happened. Guess what y'all? It really wasn't all that bad. Yeah, right! There are allegedly pictures and videos which show Joseline, Stevie J., and Shay Johnson involved in different tiffs (not necessarily with each other).
However, Benzino is claiming all was tame when it came to rumors of an altercation between his ex-girlfriend Karlie and Joseline's friend. Did I mention said friend is Benzino's new fiance? My bad. She is. Speaking to All Hip Hop, Benzino explains, “Everything was sensationalized,” adding, “There were no bottles thrown, no fists were thrown, no guns were pulled out.”
Karlie concurs. In a statement, she reveals, “The reality is we are in a time when everyone wants their shine; their few minutes of fame – and I get that, but I assure you I was not involved in any fighting nor was I knocked out."
So, there was minimal drama and violence at the opening of Sleazy & Zino? That's disappointing!
TELL US-DO YOU BELIEVE THAT THERE WAS NO BEEF BETWEEN KARLIE AND BENZINO'S NEW LADY?
