Please spare me. I used to be a gym, tan, laundry fanatic. No, I didn't go to the gym or tan obsessively, but adored the drunken fools of the Jersey Shore who did. I still find myself saying "cabs are heeyah" on the rare occasion I take a taxi somewhere. Of course, for the most part, those crazy kids are all grown up (kind of) and having children of their own. We should all be very afraid!
The most recent parenthood convert is DJ Pauly D who is embroiled in a legal battle with the mother of his five-month-old daughter Amabella. What kind of hybrid name is that? She is a precious baby though!

Speaking to Access Hollywood, Pauly discusses fatherhood, saying, “It’s crazy. It’s different. It was a shocker, but it’s amazing. When I met her, she was precious, [a] precious little girl. She looks just like me. And it changes my life. I put her before me now. Now, when I’m shopping, I’m looking for like sneakers for her now instead of for me. So she’s gonna be a fresh little girl.”
Describing the first father-daughter encounter, Pauly shares, “When I first saw her, her eyes lit up. It was almost like she knew. It was crazy. She went right for my hair. She grabbed my hair. She was biting my nose. It was amazing.” Of course she went for his hair! She was probably attempting to make it look less douchy! I think we should be thankful she didn't cut herself on it!
Revealing that he was a little nervous about what to do with a baby, Pauly admits, “I didn’t know if I was gonna understand what to do, but I just do. Something clicks and when I [saw] her, I’m like, ‘Awww.’ Now I’m always wondering what she’s doing.”
Pauly explains that he is trying to get as much time with his daughter as possible, and he is hopeful that his lawyer will be able to make that happen. He tells the site, “It’s a little rocky. It’s not the ideal situation. This wasn’t planned, but you know what? I’m gonna try the best I can do to give the baby the best life I can."
Of a visitation agreement, Pauly states, “We’re trying to work that out now. That’s all in the lawyers’ hands and everything so I just want to see the baby as much as I can and that’s what I’m fighting for.”
That poor child is going to be wearing rhinestone encrusted track suits before you know it…
