Oh Kris Jenner! Before the ratings for her upcoming talk show even have a chance to go south, the pimpmomager is taking every opportunity to chat about new granddaughter North while on a press tour to promote her new daytime venture.
E! shares that Kris was absolutely gushing over daughter Kim Kardashian's newborn with tiny rapper Kanye West on the TODAY show. Unfortunately, I missed it as I have made good on my promise to boycott my former favorite morning show after they aired Kris chatting about breast implants instead of observing a moment of silence for 9/11. Kris revealed, "Everyone's doing really well at home. The baby's doing great and happy and healthy and it's a really joyful time."
However, mama didn't raise no fool (oh, wait…), and Kris knows she needs to wait for the highest bidder Kim's permission before she goes showing pictures of little North. She joked, "I'd have to kill you if I showed you my cell phone."
Us Weekly has the skinny as Kris made the rounds on the talk show circuit, going next to The View where family friend Barbara Walters mused, "There's been a lot of controversy. I mean, it's funny, but do you really want your child named North West, and would you have preferred it have been a K? Grandma, I know it's their decision, but how do you feel about them naming their little girl North?"
Not surprisingly, Kris thinks the name is a step in the right direction. So Sorry. She told Barbara, "I love the name North. I'm pro-North, absolutely. The way [Kim] explained it to me, north means highest power, and North is their highest point together. I thought that was really sweet." She also shared that the baby is being called Nori.
Additionally, a source tells the magazine that the new parents are too consumed with North to listen to gossip about their relationship going south. I mean, it just writes itself! A source explains, "Kanye feels he's already deeply changed after having the baby. He's so in love with her and Kim right now."
The insider continues, "Kanye has so much love for his daughter. He is so doting and has held her since the second she was born. I don't think he has slept a wink. He just wants to keep checking on Kim and the baby," adding, "All he wants is to be there for Kim now."
Awww, Kanye knows what's up, and I am not referring to the direction of his baby's name…
