Real Housewives of New Jersey & Princesses: Long Island Ratings Soar; Keeping Up With The Kardashians Surprisingly High!

Well we all knew everyone had their TVs turned to Bravo this Sunday night! After all, it was the much-anticipated epic premiere of Real Housewives of New Jersey: Where Sanity Goes To Die

The ratings did not disappoint! 2.84 Million people watched RHONJ in the original 8PM airing! That's impressive for a premiere. Ratings usually increase as the season progresses.

Ratings for seasons 3 & 4 of the show were steadily in the 2.6 million mark per episode with the season 4 reunion yanking in over 3.4 million gawkers. Everyone wanted to see Jacqueline Laurita lose it in person, apparently!

Also a surprising hit was Princesses: Long Island. The series premiere, which aired immediately following RHONJ, snagged over 1.2M viewers in the 9pm EST airing.

And of course there was Keeping Up With The Kardashians where anal sex was a topic of conversation. While I'm sure everyone needed to bleach their ear drums after hearing about that, over 3 million people tuned into learn if Kim Kardashian is having a girl or a boy!

Presumably many people do not have access to TMZ… It's a girl, if you missed it.

Deadline reports that it was only a 3% increase over last season's premiere, but it was the most watched premiere for the show in 3 seasons.

We fully expect ratings to drop significantly however as it appears that outside of Kim's ridiculous pregnancy nonsense (which Kanye West reportedly refused to film scenes for) there is absolutely NOTHING going on.

KUWTK is still filming and it's undecided if Kim giving birth will be included in the season. She initially said she wasn't sharing pregnancy or baby stuff on her reality shows, but clearly that's changed!
