Oh, those krazy Kardashian sisters. If it's not one thing, it's another with that group. Luckily, this go-round, Khloe Kardashian Odom is garnering some positive hype for her reality star status and social media prowess. That's a plus, right?
Unfortunately, Kim Kardashian hasn't had anything positive news surrounding her in ages, and this gossip is no different. Kim and boyfriend Kanye West peeved an entire airplane full of common folk after accepting some preferential (and likely illegal!) treatment from an American Airlines employee. That doesn't sound good at all!

Celebuzz is ranking Khloe as No. 19 on it's Hollywood Power Index…whatever that is. Noting that she's the highest paid television star under the age of thirty (she makes an estimated $40K per episode…cha-ching!), the site lauds Khloe for being "talented at carefully crafting her celebrity brand" who has "a large loyal following both with and without her siblings." To be honest, I prefer Khloe without any of her siblings lurking around. I'd be fine hanging with her all day long if her sisters would quietly fade into obscurity.
Also garnering praise for the youngest Kardashian sister? Khloe's love of tweeting! Reminding us that Khloe was named Forbes' "Queen of Social Networking" in December of 2011, Khloe has millions of followers on Twitter, and tweets more than her celebrity counterparts. There's a resume builder for you! Slow news day?
While Khloe is likely relishing in this grand news, her sister Kim is at the center of another controversy…although it's apparently not her fault. She and Kanye had a small TSA situation on their hands recently.
According to TMZ, the couple flew from Brazil to New York's JFK airport where they planned to catch a flight to Los Angeles…and a major security violation occurred. In order to help the pair make their connection, an airline employee allowed Kimye to bypass a security checkpoint. Yikes! An investigator for TSA tells the site, "An airline employee escorted the two travelers through a non-public area in order to provide expedited access to their domestic flight."
Explaining that it wasn't Kimye's fault, the investigator continues, "The airline employee violated security protocols by permitting the travelers to by-pass the TSA security checkpoint. TSA learned of the violation and conducted a private screening of the two passengers in the area of the jetway."
When TSA officials pulled the duo off of the plane to L.A. to investigate, the flight was delayed for almost an hour while Kim and Kanye were cleared by security. Of course, like all good airline snafus, baggage is to blame as well. A representative for American Airlines reveals, "[The flight] was delayed in part because a number of connecting bags were delayed getting to the aircraft."
The airline is taking full responsibility, saying, "This was a lapse in judgment by one of our employees. We’re working closely with the TSA and speaking to the individuals involved to better understand what happened."
This may be one of the more humorous parts of my Thursday. Can you imagine how mortified Kimmie must have been to have been deemed a security threat? Priceless!
