Sometimes it's the most random of pairs that make for the most interesting television. Who would have thought that RHOBH's Lisa Vanderpump and Brandi Glanville would have become biffles? Not this girl…but how hilarious are they to watch? While we're at it, let's list some more unlikely couples that have had viewers glued to their TV screens.
Sonny and Cher, Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan (LOVE!), Andy Cohen and his shot-ski…all of these twosomes have created some very fun and watchable entertainment. Now, we can add another dynamic duo to the mix in the form of everyone's favorite weatherman Al Roker and…Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Dino Manzo! Intrigued? I know I am…not to mention super excited!

Deadline shares that Al and Dina are teaming up for a new project detailing Dina's life. The series is being touted as a docu-reality show which will follow the former Bravo star as she lives her life post split after divorcing husband Tommy Manzo. Al's production company promises that fans will get to see cameras "document Dina's new chapter." I realize Al plans to stay behind the scenes, but my fingers are crossed he makes an on-screen cameo!
Al shares, “This collaboration will be an opportunity for Dina’s fans to go behind the scenes into her world — which is different than most people would expect."
Dina adds, “I think viewers will be surprised at the type of show this will be.”
After a season and a half on RHONJ, Dina denounced the drama and left the hit housewives franchise. She now spends her time on HGTV's Dina's Party. Her marriage to Tommy was documented seven years ago on VH1's My Big Fat Fabulous Wedding. Clearly, Dina is no stranger to the reality genre!
I don't know about y'all, but I am really pumped to see what Al and Dina create with this series. Two of my favorite seemingly opposite personalities are coming together, and it will either be truly amazing or awesomely bad. Dina, of course, is hoping for the former, tweeting yesterday, "I'm baacccccckkk : )"
To be honest, I'm kind of at a loss for words, and we all know that never happens. To me, this has some fabulous potential. Al Roker can do no wrong in my eyes!
