Santa Claus had better redneckognize! My favorite precocious six-year-old is very excited about this time of year, and she's anxiously awaiting a visit from the jolly, bearded guy in a red suit…and I don't mean Sugar Bear in July!
The breakout reality star may have catapulted to super stardom this year thanks to her hit show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, but Alana Thompson is just a regular girl when it comes to celebrating Christmas, and Mama June has made sure to keep her youngest daughter very grounded. On the heels of being named one of Barbara Walters' Ten Most Fascinating People, Alana is focused on the same thing that all children are excited about this time of year–the holidays!

Hollywood Life is reporting on a few of Alana's favorite things…and some presents that didn't make the top of her list. When discussing her least favorite Christmas gift, Alana says, “The worst Christmas gift I ever got was my Barbie car that I had to take back because it was too small." I'd love to educate Alana on the problems of a too tiny Barbie car. When I asked for one when I was little, I was given one of my brother's Hot Wheels and told to use my imagination.
She does have a favorite present. Alana shares, “My best Christmas present was my tent that goes over my bed."
June also remembers her best Christmas gift as something that the entire family could enjoy. She recalls, “The best Christmas gift I got was a year ago when I got my crock pot, ’cause we were able to put meals in there and then just forgot about it, come back like eight hours later and it would be ready.” Well, this makes me happy. I am thrilled to learn that June knows how to cook more than 'sketti…although it's probably road kill going in that crock pot!
Of her least favorite gift, June can't pinpoint a specific item but guesses it was “maybe like a $5 gift card to like Walmart gift card or something,” adding, “What are you gonna buy nowadays with a $5 gift card? I mean come on now.” The lady makes a valid point.
