Storage Wars Star Dave Hester: Locked Out Of Production!

Considering we previously reported that A&E rescinded Dave Hester's season four contract option, you may have been surprised to see him on the season premiere of Storage Wars

Well, nothing has changed, A&E and Dave are still at war. He only appeared on the show last night because it was taped before the network locked him out of production. Locked! Out!

Love him or hate him, Dave Hester is arguably the show's biggest star. However, according to an inside source, the ratings for the show have declined and it is no longer A&E's top priority. "Inside the network, the feeling is 'we're going to tape this show with or without you,'" a source told RadarOnline.

"The network and production company has the power," the source explained. "The rest of the cast is working without having their contract issues fully worked out … but Hester simply is not allowed to tape, as he has no offer."

According to Radar's source, Dave wants back on the show, but the network is playing hardball with him.

Actually, it sounds like they're playing hardball with everyone. Reportedly, other members of the Storage Wars cast have sought out better deals and expense reimbursements; however, they have all been denied. The source added, "It's tough to fight the network. Executives with the show have even warned people who work there not to talk about what is going on."

Does this feel familiar to you? It should. Dave and A&E locked horns last season too. Just before season three, Dave had demanded a bigger paycheck and whined about not being invited to A&E's Christmas party, creating a bunch of public hoopla.

Coincidence? Or has Storage Wars resorted to creating fake preseason drama for the media buzz? We like to call that "pulling an American Idol."

A&E has yet to comment on Dave's season four contract.

TELL US – DO YOU THINK THE DAVE DRAMA IS REAL OR FAKE? WILL YOU WATCH STORAGE WARS IF DAVE DOES NOT RETURN?
