DWTS’s Kirstie Alley: She Loves John Travolta, Had An Emotional Affair With Patrick Swayze, And Did Mountains Of Coke…Good Times!

I think we all can agree that Kirstie Alley's middle name these days is TMI.  Promoting her new book The Art of Men (I Prefer Mine al Dente), the Dancing with the Stars contestant has been dropping bombs about her life and loves all over the media.  Someone needs to put a muzzle on her.  STAT!

I'm not sure which recent story is the best.  There's the tidbit about John Travolta being the love of her life, her forbidden feelings for Patrick Swayze, and, of course, her giant cocaine addiction.  Where to begin?  Where to begin?

Kirstie recently spoke to Barbara Walters about her dear friend and partner in Scientology crime and talking baby movies, John Travolta.  As you know, the giant movie star has been dodging gay rumors for years, and he was recently cleared of several claims of sexual harassment from male hotel workers and masseurs.  Kirstie isn't buying any of those rumors.  She says, "I know John with all my heart and soul; he's not gay. I think in some weird way, in Hollywood, if someone gets big enough and famous enough, and they're not out doing drugs and they're not womanizing, what do you say about them?"

After calling John the greatest love of her life, Kirstie claims, "It took everything I had inside, outside, whatever, to not run off and marry John and be with John for the rest of my life…I feel like when you marry someone, you're supposed to work hard at it and you're supposed to make it work."

On the heels of calling a married man the love of her life, Kirstie then spilled on Entertainment Tonight about her emotional affair with Patrick Swayze while the pair filmed the mini-series North and South in the '80s.  Though both stars were married at the time, she admits they fell in love but never had a physical affair.  However, Kirstie explains, "I think what we did was worse, because I think when you fall in love with someone when you're married, you jeopardize your own marriage and their marriage. It's doubly bad."

Kirstie shares that she is still friends with Patrick's widow Lisa Niemi and was honored to be asked by her to speak at Patrick's funeral.  Of course, she says she isn't sure if Lisa knew about the love shared between Kirstie and Patrick.  It's so kind of Kirstie to let her find out this way!  Does this woman have a filter?  My heart breaks for Patrick's wife to hear all of this when he's not around to share his side of the story.  So tacky.

Finally, the icing on the cake is the amount of cocaine Kirstie used to do back in the day.  Citing she did enough drugs to kill several people, Kirstie says, "I thought I was going to overdose almost every time… There was about a year’s span that I did cocaine that I was doing it – you could say – more occasionally, on the weekend. Then my weekend became a three-day weekend, then it became four, then it became five.  But I would do so much at a time that I would snort the coke and then I would sit there, I would take my pulse [thinking]: 'I’m dying, I’m dying, I’m dying.'"

According to Radar Online, it was Scientology that saved the star.  Kirstie recalls, "A friend of mine sent me this book. Most of my friends were drug addicts so they didn’t send me books. But one of my friends who wasn’t, was a Scientologist and she sent me Dianetics [by L. Ron Hubbard]. Somehow I got through it and I thought: 'This is either the world’s biggest scam or this is how I’m going to get rid of this hideous compulsion that I have.'"

I can only imagine what is going to come out of this woman's mouth next.  Any guesses?
